Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The only place in Houston I want to stay! I travel to Houston for work periodically and this is the only place where I want to stay. Obviously that's a sentiment shared by others since I seem to see the same business travelers every time I'm there. The staff are friendly, the rooms are very comfortable, and the restaurant is quite tasty. They treat their Priority Club guests very well. I enjoy the Priority Club lounge. It's a nice place to just sit and relax. I would and have recommended this hotel to others without hesitation. May 20, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel Elevators are dated and require maintenance. One always stopped on the 3rd floor. Elevators also smelled like WD-40. Room was excellent. Food is great, try the steak. Bartenders friendly. Great location. Easy to get to. Easy access to I-10 and 610. Internet was fast. May 14, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Stay at the Crowne Plaza on Katy Freeway in Houston Room was fine. A/C Unit was somewhat erratic. service was great in the restaurant. The food was horrible for dinner. My steak was very dried out and over peppered. Side dishes were weak at best. May 5, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good choice for the area. Appears to be recently renovated. Was upgraded to suite, which had new contemporary furnishings. Very nice except for a musty "old carpet" smell (which was odd being that everything appeared new). Bed/pillows/linens very comfortable! Not problems with HVAC or hot water. Business center was well-equipped with heavy duty printer/copier/scanner. Front desk staff were professional, but not exceptionally friendly. Didn't have chance to visit the bar or restaurant. Location is good in that there aren't many hotels in the area. However, it is right by busy Interstate-10. The property's lot size appears constrained. The parking lots are small and parking spaces are tight--Not suited for Texas-sized SUVs. Overall, the nice room and bed makes up for the minor shortcomings. May 4, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this hotel! We stay here every year for a volleyball tournament. Last year they were under going renovations, this year..they look awesome! Even during the renovations, they were great! The rooms are spacious, we love the full breakfast buffet, the happy hour, and the shuttle to and from the dart rail. Even when we have to leave for the tournament early in the mornings, they open the buffet earlier than normal. (just wish the omelet maker would start earlier too)! May 3, 2013
