Fourth stay at the Holiday Inn, Ipswich. Friendly helpful staff, Great leisure facilites and comfortable quiet rooms. Recommended.

I had booked 8 rooms through the priority club and when I arrived they did not recognize me as a priority club member , the room I was given was so small it was big enough to swing a cat , the Bar staff were friendly and polite but the staff in the breakfast area wasn't , I had my 12 year old son with me and he wanted to make is own pancakes but despite telling the waitress numerous occasions and she promising to refill the machine she didn't leaving my son disappointed , you had to ask numerous times for tea and coffee and then the waitresses were very snappy as you were asking numerous times, overall probably the worst experiance I have had at any ICHG hotel I've stayed in and I'm in them 3 nights a week , I hope my next stay booked through the priority club for my sons Birthday is a much better experiance at a Crowne Plaza.

From welcoming glass of wine through to a great breakfast and comfortable room, although both fought over who got the firm pillow as liked the soft better. Only marked food as good as only had breakfast and a sandwich which were both very good. Would certainly stay here again if in the area.

HAVE STAYED HERE MANY TIMES OVER THE LAST 5 YEARS AND IT IS OF A GOOD STANDARD. THE ROOMS ARE COMFORTABLE AND WELL APPOINTED. THIS YEAR FOR SOME REASON THERE WAS NO MILK ON THE TEA TRAY AND I HAD TO ASK FOR SOME. ALSO A GLASS I USED ON THE FIRST DAY WAS NOT WASHED OR REPLACED. THE BATHROOM WAS VERY SMALL AND I'M GLAD WE ARE NOT TOO FAT OR WE WOULD HAVE HAD TERRIBLE TROUBLE GETTING IN AND OUT!!
THE BREAKFAST IS EXCELLENT AND THE RESTAURANT STAFF ARE TOO.
WIFI IS AVAILABLE BUT PRICEY!!

Not up to the usual HI standard the rooms are a quart squezed into a pint pot.
The hotel corridors look tired and drab
The swimming pool had 2 consecutive aqua classes taking up the whole pool between 7 and 8.30 pm not good planning.
Food was just about OK
Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful saty ay this hotel. The staff are excellent and could not have done more for us. They were all exceptionally helpful at all times. Our room was beautiful and kept very well during our stay. We have stayed at a number of Holiday Inn Hotels and would recomment this as the best.
