I was astounded when I discovered there was no elevator!! (Isn't this some kind of violation against rights of handicapped folks??)
Carrying our bags to and from the room was no easy task.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. It's a nice place.
Christine at the front desk is always very warm and wecoming.
It would be nice if there were a lock on the bathroom door.
Also, an exhaust fan in the bathroom would be great.
It get pretty steamy in there after a shower.

On this particular stay, I had gotten confused on the hours the restaurant would be open. As happened, I was meeting a business colleague (also staying at HI-Issaquah) for coffee but scheduled during the time the restaurant was closed. (Foolish of me!) I mentioned to Lormee that I would go over to Tully's (just across the street# to purchase a "jug" of coffee for the meeting as it was OK for us to go ahead an meet in the restaurant.
After getting settled in our rooms and preparing for the meeting, just prior to my departure to Tully's, I received a phone call stating that Erin #the restaurant and catering manager# said she would have plenty of coffee for us.
What is impressive about this is that I didn't ask them to do this. They simply took initiative and did it! WOW!
This made everything so wonderful and helped to promote a much more productive meeting for us with complete privacy #because the restaurant was closed# and all the coffee we could drink!
THANK YOU!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by worldtraveler99 Good value
For the price, it's a great value and can't be beat. It's very safe (I am a female often there alone), convenient to the freeway, overall very comfortable and has the basics of what I need. I stay here on business on a regular basis. The only thing I would love to see is upgraded/remodeled bathrooms. All the basics are there and work fine, could just use a facelift. The rooms are fine though, seems like they've been updated with the last few years. bed are comfortable.

Snoqualmie Pass was closed and I am a Priority Club member. I have stayed here before and the beds are great. We were too late for the restaurant but the bartender was still there and treated us wonderfully! Yes I always pick this spot to stay if I need to stay on the west side of Snoqualmie Pass!

We have been visiting this HI Issaquah, WA nearly every month for nearly 4 years now. The service is impeccable. Rooms are clean and tastefully decorated and the restaurant offers a good variety of quality meals at a reasonable price. Debbie, Lormee and Ryan always greet me with a smile, and handle my affairs with the upmost professionalism. Peter, the head server at Juniper's is also a wonderful, hardworking individual. Although I fail to remember the bartender's name, but he also is warm, friendly and very accommodating, having brought in our favorite spirits. We didn't even ask him to, only asked if we had it and the next time we came he informed us it was now in stock. What attention to detail and desire to make you feel like family!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 I was pleasantly surprised
I really hadn't expected much so I was pleasantly surprised by almost all aspects of this establishment. The staff was ridiculously friendly and accommodating. The room was spotless. The bed and other furniture were comfortable and the property maintenance was excellent. Food in Juniper's was creative, well prepared, and nicely presented. The staff and management of this establishment should be proud of themselves.
