THIS WAS THE 2ND TIME THAT WE STAYED HERE. HOWEVER, SOME STUDENTS WERE STAYING ON THE SAME FLOOR, AND OUTSIDE THE ROOMS, PLAYING CARDS, RIGHT OUTSIDE THE ELEVATOR. THEY REFUSED TO MOVE, YOU HAD TO CLIMB OVER THEM TO WALK, THEY DIDN'T EVEN MAKE A PATH FOR YOU TO GET THRU, THEIR SPONSORS WERE ALSO OUTSIDE THE ROOM. TO BE TRUTHFUL I WAS SCARED. I CALLED THE FRONT DESK, WHO STATED THAT THEY WOULD THE MANAGER UP. I EVEN WENT DOWN, ON ANOTHER NIGHT, WHO STATED THAT THEY WERE RUDE. T\HEIR SECURITY STAFF CK. THE FLOORS I DON'T KNOW THE TIME, HOWEVER, THIS GRP WAS FROM A DIFFERENT COUNTY AND THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY. NOW I AM HANDICAPPED, AND IF I FELL, I COULD NOT GET UP VERY WELL. I FELT THAT THE MANAGEMENT COULD HAVE OFFERED TO MOVE ME TO A DIFFERENT AREA OF THE HOTEL.
THE ONLY GOOD NIGHTS REST I HAD WAS THE LAST NIGHT SINCE THEY CK OUT ON WED, AND I LEFT THURS AM.
MY ROOM ALSO DIDN'T HAVE ADDITIONAL TOWELS AS REQ. AND MY BATHROOM FLOOR WASN'T CLEANED EITHER.

This will be too long to go go into the kind of detail that you'd like, but I'll try to make it short and sweet. My two young boys and I stayed here for 2 nights before moving to a Disney Resort. I am a travel agency owner and like to stay at different resorts and hotels so that I can best direct my clients. All I want is a place that's decently clean and safe. Both of those wants were horribly denied with this property. For the cleanliness side, there were ants crawling around on the walls. We did not get into our room until late the first evening. I put my kids in bed and sat down to do some work. This is when I noticed the ants. I called the front desk, they said they'd send someone up. An hour later I called back and they said they'd send someone. I asked how long it'd be because I had two sleeping children, but the front desk couldn't tell me. I told them to just wait until morning as I didn't want the kids to be disturbed so late. I called the next morning to remind them to do whatever to clean the room while we were out. I returned to find nothing done, but no ants. I know nothing was done because the few I'd killed were still there- ew. That night at about 10:30 PM, I get a knock on my door. Three men in hotel uniforms were standing there. They said that I needed to move rooms. I promptly shut and locked the door back. I also immediately called down to the front desk to tell them what happened and to verify if they were asking us to move rooms. They informed me that they did not have uniforms and it was not them, but to just stay in the room. No one bothered to send up security or anyone to check on us. Needless to say, I did not sleep a wink that night. We left the hotel at 5:30 AM and checked into our Disney hotel. I complained to the manager in writing and through their own survey that came to me after the trip. Not once has anyone cared to even comment back. I do NOT recommend this hotel and highly suggest you find a different property.

Came to visit some family in the area. Hotel was very nice and clean. The pool was great! VERY comfortable beds and pillows. Had a wonderful stay would certainly stay here in the future! Great hotel for the value. Also very close to Disney and lots of great places to eat nearby.

I am a gold elite priority club member, and they did NOT acknowledge that at ALL. They also walked right in to my room at noon and demanded that I checked out! You can understand how confused I was because At time of check in I was under the impression that my check out was at 2pm,as it is at any other Holiday Inn Ive ever stayed at. Shortly after someone just walked into my room without knocking , I received a call from the front desk demanding me to check out because they had a full house. Of course I left quickly and a little upset. The hotel in itself had a FUN atmosphere, The rooms were a bit pre-dated but clean. Being the person I am I would probably give them one more chance to impress me, but I will be sure to use the locks on the door to prevent unwanted staff members from just barging in..

I was there the first week of April of 2013 for a family trip to Disney World.
The room itself was a good setup; with bunk beds for the kids and their own television.
Location was great!
Washer and dryer were convenient.
the bathroom had a smell to it... shower curtain stunk! The toilet could have used an air freshener!
The internet was pretty much useless!
Restaurant food was average but service was poor.
For me, this time it wasn't a business trip so I didn't care much for the internet nor did we spent much time in the room; therefore it was okay. Also parking gets crowded on the front area so if you are looking for a place to park after 9pm, might was well go straight to back.

My stay was good all except for the elevator. My youngest daughter and I got stuck for about 30 min before someone came and got us. All in all in was and enjoyable stay other than that. I would recommend the hotel.

People were very nice and tried to help when possible. Rooms were good and the food buffet very good. Internet worst than any other place i have ever stayed at. 1 mps speed doesn't get anything.

I booked this room well in advance of my stay and when I arrived, I found out that the price of 2 of the 4 days I booked was about $50 more than I had been quoted. This increased my vacation cost by about $150 when all taxes, ect. were added on. I was told the reason for the increase was because of availability which didn't make sense to me. Why should I pay more when I booked early!! The bathroom was so small it was difficult to move in it. One light would not turn off so we had to unplug it and the toilet paper roll holder was coming off the wall. Based on other reviews, I would not have stayed here but my daughter and her family had booked a room before me and for sake of convenience, I wanted to be in the same hotel. Very disappointed in Holiday Inn.

This was the 3rd time I have stayed at this facility, but this time we got a much LARGER room with a full kitchen (for the same price). This was a nice surprise, however, the bathroom seemed to be SMALLER than normal. The food we ordered was OK, but overpriced (to be expected at a hotel) but overcooked as well. We paid a lot of money for chicken wings that we couldn't even eat because they had almost turned to rubber. The Pizza Hut closed early, yet we were told we couldn't eat outside Pizza Hut in an open area. Go figure.
If you can get it at a good price (i.e., under $90# it's a good place. If not, look elsewhere #where you can at least get a free hot breakfast for the same price)

I travel extensively - particularly in the Florida market. I am a die-hard Priority Club member (800,000+ points). This is a facility to which I will return. In fact, I will be coming back this coming week.
The only 'challenge', as it were, is the indoor bar area is a bit smaller than what it could-be. When the weather outside is cooler, it would be nice(r) to have a larger indoor bar.
This is, by no means, a deterrent to me staying at this facility in the future.

We arrived at the hotel at 3:00 PM. Our room was not ready and would not be until after 4:00. When we got to the room, we turned on the TV and it did not work. So I called the desk and asked for someone to fix the TV and I asked for more coffee. A few hours went by with no one to help with the TV. Finally my husband started looking at the set and discovered that the TV was not plugged in. Why didn't we notice that before? The cord was behind the cabinet that the TV sat on and no one would have noticed that. He plugged it in and it worked. Why would it be unplugged? I called the desk to let them know that we had discovered the problem but asked again for some coffee. Much later it came. We had reserved our room on the internet and were quoted a rate. When the bill came it was $65.00 more than the original amount. That was very disapointing. My husband has been a Priority Club member for over twenty-five years and we certainly were not given any priority treatment.

Holiday Inn Vacation Club invited us to stay here so they can set up an appointment for us to go to the Holiday Inn Orange Lake Resort and talk to us about the time share. We were very disappointed with this particular Holiday Inn. Rooms were discounted for two. One for me and my husband and the other for our 20 years old daughter and her friend. I could not believe how old and ran down the hotel was. Both rooms had one king size bed and two bunk beds.... My bed spread had a stain on it... technically you can have 4 people in one room. Each bathroom had a tiny sink with no room for even one person to put curling iron nor other stuff.... Lighting was awfully dark.....I wanted to get a bottle of water so went to the vending machine on the same floor. I put the money in but no water no change back. So I went to the lobby and the desk clerk gave me $2.00 back. He added I could buy a bottle of water from the gift shop right by the front desk. But the gift shop clerk must have decided to go for a break...I waited and waited for about 15 minutes. Front desk clerk didn't even try to find her. Then here she comes with cell phone on her ear. No apologies for making me wait......
What a way to start the spring break... If they wanted us to spend a chunk of money for their time share, wouldn't they want us to have the "WOW" feeling before the appointment? I was not happy and my family weren't happy either. However we ended up purchasing the time share because Holiday Inn Orange Lake Resort was truly a nice place to stay. We ended up staying the very last night there and got the heck out of this Holiday Inn so we ended up with better spirits....but I will NEVER stay at this Holida Inn!

Great customer service by staff at this hotel...especially Pauli and Dale who work at the front desk. They both went well out of their way to help us print our boarding passes and it was much appreciated. This hotel was a great value for the price of the room. The free breakfast every morning was wonderful. The shuttle to Disney theme parks was a bonus. The only suggestion I have would be for the "boarding passes computer" to print boarding passes from airports other than Orlando International. We had a great time!

rooms are older and the grounds were dirty with garbage. bedding was also old. for some reason they did not clean my room. (I stayed 2 nights) and when I called the front desk and asked them why they said housekeeping said I told them no service. which I never told them. BAD EXPERIENCE. I also had a service dog with me and staff consistently stopped me to tell me no dogs allowed (certified service animals are allowed at this hotel) when taking dog out for walk

We stayed here for one night before Disney and I was very disappointed with this Holiday Inn. I have not stayed at a hotel with a room this dirty in many years. It looked like the room hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupants. The beds were made but there was food in various spots on the floor and food leftover in the refrigerator. I had to go to the front desk for shampoo and conditioner since there wasn't any in the bathroom. The lobby was clean and the food options were fine. The kids liked the pool and the playground.

Price was fine but a few smaller issues bugged me.
1. Hotel computer/printer wasn't free, was a bit pricey for what you get. The computers didn't have updates installed so web browsers would always try and do an update. The computer were slow and need updating/tuning. If you are to charge users, have computers in a state where performance and usability is good.
2. Room was good, but around the patio door had a musky/smokey smell, prob due to smokers using the patio to smoke. Room was non-smoking
3. Was told room was ready, staff called cleaning staff to confirm, but when I went to room, cleaning staff were in there cleaning, had to wait outside for them to finish. If the room wasn't clean, don't say it is, I would of came back when ready...
4. On bill, was a resort fee. Not sure what a resort fee is, since we weren't on standard 'resort', seemed like cash grab since there weren't any resort like features other than standard hotel offerings.

Located along a crowded strip of tourist traps. The hotel is nice enough, nothing particularly special. Room rates are reasonable but then there is tax plus a "resort fee" that runs up the cost by almost 20%. I was just passing by and didn't get to use any of the supposed benefits of the "resort fee".

Overall good experience..a rocky start with too long of a wait for check in. We went out for an hour and came back in an hour and one half and the room was still not ready..This was the only bad thing about the hotel stay.. Very nice accommodations.

We chose this location because we found a coupon for a very good price. I called when we were about 45 minutes from the hotel and asked if they were accepting the coupon. They informed me that it was a walk-in rate but they had plenty of rooms available. The hotel is old and well used but clean. Our room was in the 2nd tower and could see the fireworks at night of both Disney and Epcot. The hotel is very quiet and there are alot of eating places within walking distance. It is in a very safe area. The pool area is nice but you don't have alot of sunshine in the late afternoon. This is a great place for families that are planning on spending alot of time at Disney Parks.

not sure where to begin but the customer service was excellent..i wish i would have done this sooner because now i forget what was the main things..they were little things, like me checking in as a priority member, the front girl at the desk had everything for me.. the girl at the breakfast area, where i used my free bkfst coupons allowed me into the bkfst area when they were not open yet and at least allowed me to get my coffee.. or the girl at the front desk okaying the use of my bkfst coupon for a diet soda because i am diabetic..just a lot of little reasons why i liked this hotel
