Although the hotel is well located for the Westfield shopping centre and parking is excellent value, the hotel was badly let down by poor housekeeping. After a day out we returned to our room at 1530 and it had not by then been serviced by housekeeping. Furthermore, there was no shower gel/shampoo in the room for our first night. Consequently, we were unable to properly relax and had to go out again earlier than planned so the room could be made up. The duty manager was helpful when we complained and organised a complimentary glass of wine, however, it was by then too late to remedy the situation without further disturbing us. Finally, despite the Olympic legacy the view from the room was of a building site since the Olympic Park is being dismantled, hardly the view touted in the advertising for the hotel. June 9, 2013

The location - in the centre of the Westfield Mall - is outstanding and everything you could ever need is literally right on your doorstep! Our room was on the 7th floor overlooking the Olympic Stadium and also a panoramic vista of the City of London and Canary Wharf. You could do a lot lot worse than stay at the Holiday Inn Stratford. Can't really complain about the price as we stayed using points however, this hotel was the best points value we could find in London for the weekend. The highlight for my wife and I was the wonderful indvidual service we received from Annabelle on reception. I have been travelling for business for more than 20 years so checking into hotels is nothing new to me but somehow Annabelle made it a memorable experience and we fthink she is a real asset to the hotel. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Overall good experience It was great.. i stayed here with my sister and the hotel was accomodating when she fell ill and we needed to get to the nearest hospital. We also had to change rooms since our hot water in the shower did not work and the night manager Owen was outstanding. He moved us and helped with our luggage and was extremely helpful... We asked to borrow the scale in the gym to weigh our luggage but the receptionist lady was not flexible and said no... rather dissapointing considering we were going to return it and not walk away with it. With 4 luggages we could not take the luggage to the scale we needed the scale for a few mins in our room. Overall though i did not allow that spoil the experience great shopping center and easy transportation both bus and train to other places. The concierge was helpful also with our luggage. May 9, 2013
