Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Excellent Hotel with Staff to match
I was greeted by name and shown around the hotel facilities on arrival. Room was excellent and food too. My only gripe, which is a very small one, was that I could hear activities in the street pretty much up until the pubs closed (my room was second floor and looked out onto the main street (with a pub next door).

It is my first time staying in Intercontinental Westminster and it was such a great experience. Excellent service the moment I arrived at the hotel, till the point I checked-out. The room was fantastic. However, I feel that the hotel can be kinder in their amenities. Other than that, it's all good.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by karltop very poor...
Booked an Executive room and was upgraded to Club room as RA. (1 level) The rooms are the biggest asset to this hotel, however they are very small.
The TV only worked intermittently, tried watching a film but it was very stuttery, so I gave up. Some films wouldn't work at all.
The mini bar was awful, not even a handful of spirits, 2 beers and lots of water. No wine, champagne, juices etc. Having never been charged for snacks anywhere on a paid stay as RA, I made the assumption that these would be free, but then found them on the bill for £44.
I ordered room service, which never arrived and was charged to the bill (though removed at checkout).
The rooms are very poorly sound-proofed, - with bottle banks being emptied outside at 7.50AM, this is not good.
We went to the lounge the first night, and there were 3 or 4 people in there. Very limited evening drinks selection, (and no champagne, unlike it's sister hotel across the park) Small canapes which ran out. Nice lounge though, and very cosy and intimate.
However, the next day the lounge was closed without notice.
I really expected it to be better. In truth, the place shouldn't be open yet, because there are still a LOT of issues that need to be resolved.
In spite of the enthusiasm of many of the staff, one cannot help but feel that they have simply been left to it by their management, and they seem lost and lacking in leadership and supervision.
I've read about people with no status booking through 3rd party sites getting better treatment than Royal Ambassadors, and that's not right.
Closing the Club without notice/explanation/recompense is unforgivable. I was told to have breakfast in the restaurant instead. (Front desk insisted a message had been sent to my TV to explain, but there wasn't a message there when i went back to the room.) So, beware of booking Club access, as you may not receive it, depending on how the hotel feels)
Overall, It was an opportunity to impress their RA customers in particular, and they failed. Intercontinental Park Lane for me, next time.

It was such a great hotel and we absolutely loved everything. Great welcome and service from the staff. Always a smile on their faces! Wonderful room and nothing was missing. Tried tea and cake the next day in the lounge, wonderful that too.
Perfect location too.
Can highly recommend this!

This is a great hotel in a great location... beautiful, spacious rooms. The best is the staff - specifically, the Concierge Team is amazing, and so incredibly helpful.
