Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Hotel Having stayed at this facility no fewer than twice each year for three years, if nothing else one thing can be said for this establishement: consistency. From walking into this Holiday Inn's foyer to departure, a guest can expect great staff attitudes, clean rooms and decent proximity (within minutes for each# to University of Louisville, Kentucky Exposition Center, SDF #aka, Standiford Field or Louisville International Airport), multile major federal highways and restaurants as well as courteous and round-the-clock airport pickup and drop off. With the world's ninth-largest commercial "airline" fleet (UPS) based in Louisville, one can either experience that lesson during the early morning hours as tens of UPS jet-airplanes begin "rounds" or sleep peacefully, as is the case here. The smallest guest rooms are more than spacious for the average businesman, providing a desk, ergonomic desk chair and having excellent Internet access. And only hotel by airport with a great basketball court. May 2, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bathtubs need attention I have been staying there since it was new. The bathtubs have designed rough areas on the bottom of the tub to minimize slipping. These are now black from accumulated dirt and the tub is white. All the tubs in the rooms I stayed are dirty. They need cleaning. April 26, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service, even during the busiest times. I work for a company that has reserved a block of rooms with this Holiday Inn for the last 3 years. We journey down to Louisville for our industry's largest trade show, the Mid America Truck Show. This event draws in thousands of people and all the hotels in the area are booked solid. The Holiday Inn Airport South is no exception, but the hotel continues to provide excellent customer service, even during this challenging time for them. We had the opportunity to move a bit closer to our trade show exhibit hall this year but chose to stay with the Holiday Inn because of the way they take care of their customers. They also have a great restaurant attached to the hotel. The food is great, reasonably priced and makes quick dining a breeze. Our team also utitlized their conference room amenities this year and were provided great service when the meeting went longer than we thought, and the restaurant served us in our conference room! THANKS MUCH. I would like to give a shout out to June, the general manager and Dawn, restaurant manager. They both went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and my team was well fed!! I would highly recommend this hotel/restaurant to anyone staying in the area. April 2, 2013
