The Good:
Friendly, helpful staff. Fast, dependable internet. The lobby and dining space are quite conformable.
The Not-So-Good:
Worn-out mattress, broken tiles in bathroom floor. The heating and AC unit sounds like a tractor, no sleeping with this on. Also, the fridge is extremely noisy when running.
Be advised, this place creaks like an old wood farmhouse. Anyone walking above you or in the hallway outside the room will make a fair amount of noise. This is NOT a good choice for the light sleeper.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Joandla Cons: Bed, pillows, pool; Pros: everthing else.
Cons: Bed was only OK since extra pillowtop padding was added. Six pillows in room, and none were comfortable (foam were lumpy; feather were flat). Pool was too cold for use.
Pros: Excellent service, great staff. Breakfast good; but no cream for coffee...only "creamer".

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RINmaster Predictably perfect
It is not rocket science to have a good, spacious room, comfortable bed, and non-snag presentation and service. It is not universal however, and rarely as predictable as this Staybridge. This place has never let me down, and I have been here over and over and over the last 18 months. I don't think anyone could do what they do better than they do it.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by TTUDad1 Property has declined
Among the more expensive hotels near TTU. When we first started coming here 4 years ago, it was our preferred Lubbock hotel: rooms were clean, breakfast was well stocked, rooms had tea and coffee and coffee makers that work, welcome bags for Priority Club members, etc. All that seems to have disappeared; supplies and room standards have become very spotty. We have shifted to other, less convenient hotels on most recent stays because of the decline. Owners really need to pay attention to the product on offer.

My first stay at your hotel was August of 2012. I was so pleased that I made arrangements for all of my men to stay here for 6 of the next 8 weeks. I have booked my room here on three additional visits in 2012 to Lubbock. The atmosphere, staff and accomodations were so good that another of my collegues, who has visited the Lubbock area for many years, began to stay there. Most recently, we added an additional member to our Lubbock Team and during his transition period, he has been staying there since December 3, 2012 and is very pleased. Now, we all have made this Staybridge suites our home away from Home. Thanks to staff, we will continue to make our reservations with you for many visits to come.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rommel47 Spacious, comfortable rooms
I travel frequently and always look forward to trips to Lubbock; the Staybridge is the best business-stay lodging I have experienced. Staff and service are excellent; check-in and check-out are high-speed, low-drag. The rooms are spacious, beds are great; the only place I'd rather be, other than diving in the Caribbean, is at home.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Santiago74 Poor staff communication
During a prior stay we forgot a pillow in the room and called hotel and asked them to mail it to us. Eventhough a credit card number was provided to cover the delivery cost, the pillow never arrived. Then duing a recent stay at the hotel, but only after a third person in the front desk was asked about the pillow, it was when I found it in their storage. Thanks God they keep forgoten items for up to 90 days, according one of the employees. But my point here is that it took three inquiries about the pillow to three differrent employees to include one manager, denoting this way a huge lack of communication among them to include the day manager. A last point is that I was never recognized as a Priority Club member and a welcoming pack was not provided.
