Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by needs improvement We stay in this location on a frequent basis for both business and pleasure. Usually get some type of goody bag for Priority Club membership but not this trip. Air conditioner would not cool room; room stayed warm all night. Good thing it was on east side of building so the afternoon sun did not heat it up. Breakfast was the worst we have seen at a HI Express. When we got there at 6 a.m. most of the items were cleaned out and not replaced. What was left was stale. There was no fruit, no syrup, and out of date yogurt. Come on, you have done and can do better! June 15, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One of the best!! I travel a lot with work, and wasn't expecting much from such a small town as Magnolia. Rob at the front desk was excellent and went above and beyond. He even called around to local restaurants and checked their hours for me. The bed was super comfortable, which is almost always the case with this brand and I really enjoyed the breakfast. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely stay here!! May 22, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff and very comfortable bed The ladies at the desk were great group of people so helpful and made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was great and very nicely displayed. The only thing I think needs improvement is room cleaning. I realize that they have to get so many rooms done and quickly as possible. They cleaned our room everyday and the first night we were there, there was a bobby pin behind the bathroom door and it was still there when I left. I also noticed that floor edges and underneath things aren't being cleaned. But I would still come back and stay there. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you so much. April 25, 2013

The guy at the front desk was really nice though, and worked with me quite a bit on the rate. Still higher than most places. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service the beds average I stay often in this hotel. I have everything good to say about the staff. The billing is substandard. The cost per night is to hi. I have to work on a budget, so staying there presents problems for me. All Holiday Inn Express hotels doesn't address the issue of a long term stay. I have to negotiate the rate every time. I'm required to make my reservations 2 weeks in advance, but the hotel doesn't assign the room until the day of arrival. More often I have to reference my profile in order get what has been requested. In the past I've checked out and moved to another hotel. For a long term stay this is a sore spot. I ask that the concerns of a long term stay customer be evaluated. Thanks March 29, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Rooms were not ready and smelled of smoke. I stay at several Holiday Inn Express hotels and am a Gold priority club member. This is at the bottom of my list. House keeping had to be called (also for three other colligues) because none of the rooms were clean and all smelled of smoke. All rooms were labeled NON SMOKING on the door and also had ashes on the window ledges. House keeping was below average and differant daily. Price was higher then any other place. I payed for a non-smoking room! March 13, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by stayed two nites due to bad weather in the forecast we ended up staying 2 nites and the staff was very friendly and helpful to us. being on the ground floor was very good for us and possibly the reason we decided to stay at the hotel. love holiday inn express wish you had some coupons or something to make the rooms a little cheaper, but i guess that won't be a problem if there is one in the area that I decide to stay!thanks to all the staff!
