The mattress was awful! My husband woke up with back pains from the lumps in the mattress. It took days for the knot in his back to go away.
The other disappointment was the TV channel selection for children. Our children are pre-school aged and there were no free channels that were appropriate. Why not include PBS Kids or Sprout in your selection? Both are included in most cable basic packages. Not all parents who let their children watch TV allow them to watch age inappropriate shows.

It was so nice to arrive at this Holiday Inn and be greeted warmly...and offered a glass of wine! I appreciated the comfortable room and the attention to my needs. Thanks!

Nice clean spacious room and bath. Good location, decent restaurant and bar on premise. My only complaint or negative is the wi fi service is the worst I have encountered in the last couple of years anywhere. I was there with a supplier doing a local trade show, and nobody could connect or stay connected for the 2 days I was there. As business people we live and die by wi fi.

This property is kinda new yet appears rundown or dated already. Lobby is nice though.
Staff couldn't care less about Priority Club.
I HATE the plastic cups in the rooms. Come on... there's a restaurant attached to the property. It wouldn't be hard to put real glassware and coffee mugs in the rooms.
Also, the pillows are marked "firm" and "soft" but they all feel the same. They're all too firm. I wake up with a kink in my neck every morning.
I've had much better experiences at other Holiday Inn Expresses but this is the only game in town right now in this area.
Location is ideal for me.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by FGT3 Very NIcely Updated Rooms with Fantastic Staff
Due to Hurricane Sandy, I had to find a place to stay while helping my 90 year old Uncle deal with damage to his home. I used this hotel for nearly a month and a half as did many others who were in the area responding to the loca situation. While the staff had every opportunity to gouge guests due to the high demand for rooms when few or none were available in the area, they kept their rates reasonable and even provided special consideration for those of us who stayed for long periods of time.
The front desk staff were always accomodating and very friendly. The on site restaurant was fair to very good for a hotel, but the lounge closed a little too early (10pm). Especially during these times, it would have been nice to have food and beverages avaiable later since many of us were working well into the evening. The rooms appear to have been recently updated and were comfortable. Not a lot of frills but more than adequate.
I would definitely not hesitate to stay again and recommend this hotel to others. It was one of the best Holiday Inns I have stayed at.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Visioner23 Great value
In an area full of ridiculously inflated prices, this hotel is by far the best value! Great staff and comfortable accommodations make this hotel worth it. I wasn't even overcharged for my 12/31 stay like every other hotel in the area was doing! I have had better Holiday Inns, however, this is still a great place to stay. Highly recommended!
