Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Acceptable This Hotel is new the room is okay, comfortable and clean, few comments about my experience , as per their concept they don't have room service, they keep mini fridge but empty, they keep tea bags and coffee with catle, but no water. if you need to drink or have late snack then remmember their is no room service, no bell boy. it is good to stay over night but don't forget to bring your water bottle with you. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great experience Loved staying at the Holiday In Express recently. Was amazed with the service from the very moment my wife and I arrived. Check in was easy and quick. The room we were given was clean, tidy and spacious. a lot more than I expected for the money we were paying. To the sixth floor for a trip to the bar. Very relaxing and once again excellent service. location of the hotel was also excellent. we took a taxi to Adiliyah. 2 BD. Taxi back pretty much the same. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Got back home after our trip and immediately booked another weekend. thanks for the lovely experience. April 24, 2013

The room itself was up to an excellent standard and certainly on a par with hotels of a more (apparent) prestigious nature. Thoroughly recommended for a comfortable stay and close to all amenities. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Stop over This is the second time that i have stayed in this Hotel. 1st time was good however the 2nd time, not so good. Items of interest that I should share with others: 1. Hotel staff asking for a Credit Card number via email after making a reservation. Needless to say, i did not provide via email and why should I? During reservation via IHG website, it is a must to provide a CC number. 2. Hotel staff entered the room during the early hours. I still have the evidence however, entry to the room was denied by the hotel. Concern has been escalated to GM with same result. Will not stay nor recommend this hotel. There are other IHG Hotels in Bah. March 25, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wild partying kept me awake I've stayed here several times. Last time I was given a room on a corner. It seems this may have been on a street where there is wild partying. I was kept awake all night by shouting and what seemed to be shooting of firecrackers. A nightmare! I guess this sort of behavior is just tolerated. March 6, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good hotel, limited local knowledge Well up to the standards I have learned to expect from a HIE: efficient check-in, friendly, helpful staff, comforable, clean room, convenient central location, adequate choice at the breakfast buffet. For my day of departure, I asked Reception to find me a car and driver to take me to some of the sights outside Manama before I left. The list I left at Reception disappeared, and I was glad I had taken the precaution of photographing it before handing it over. The HIE minibus provided was comfortable and clean; the careful Bangladeshi driver was friendly, courteous - and often lost. I saw far less that I had hoped, because he was unable to find the way to the Tree of Life: admittedly there were very few signposts. We went to two venues that were closed: the Oil Museum and Fort Arad. Given local circumstances, I would have expected the hotel to check this in advance. I found it hard to accept paying a high price for such limited service. March 5, 2013
