Not being familiar with the area, I decided to have dinner at the hotel and it was not a disappointment. The room was clean and comfortable. Loved the fact that there was a ceiling fan in the room too! Will definitely return next time I'm in the area. February 24, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely nice room! The room we were in was called a suite. It was very clean and very spacious. The staff at the front desk were especially cordial and helpful. The dining staff were extremely generous with their time and had smiles and pleasant words. I do not know if we will be back to McKinney any time soon as we were there for a college baseball tournament, but if we are, we will definitely stay at this hotel. February 17, 2013

When you see that much enthusiasm you know it must be a great place to work and it makes being away from home much easier. Thank you for a great stay and I look forward to staying again soon. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel I usually have 60 stays a year in the Holiday Inn brand of hotels. This one is very nice - on par with or better than the Crowne's that I have stayed at recently. Linens and bed are the best. Since I don't frequent bars or lounges, I wish they would have given me the option for a breakfast discount instead of a drink coupon. A coffee pot in the lobby would also be appreciated (needing to be seated in the restaurant for a couple of togo cups of coffee was not really a well spent 5-7 minutes on my part). January 22, 2013

The front desk staff are always friendly, professional, and willing to go the extra mile. It is truly a family friendly establishment, and my youngest always packs his swim trunks for the beautiful indoor pool. Like other HI properties, the linens are what you'd expect at a pricier hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. Although it is located right off 75, road noise is NOT an issue. My only complaint is that the coffee pots in the rooms are single-cup machines. We are big coffee drinkers and would like to have a 4-cup machine. January 2, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Recent Stay at McKinney-Fairview Holiday Inn We really enjoyed our recent stay at the McKinney-Fairview Holiday Inn. We were greeted by two very friendly young ladies who were dressed in costume for the Halloween weekend! I believe the person who checked us in was named Jessica and she was so gracious and welcoming. She presented us with a small gift bag and told us to let her know if we needed anything. Our room, 202, was clean and comfortable. We were in town for our nephew's engagement party and the location was perfect for where we needed to go. After the party we wanted more coffee, went to the desk and ask for a few envelopes of regular coffee and the young man behind the desk was very accomodating. Our overall stay was very positive and if this facility is representative of Holiday Inns, we will be staying in your hotels again. We recently had a very bad experience in another chain that we always used because we are Gold Card members, so we are looking for another chain to use. Thanks for a great visit/ November 2, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Knee Surgery We have stayed in this hotel a few times and just fell in love with the place during the first and second time we stayed. We are always greeted with the warmest smile and great humor by Justin which was just what we needed this past stay. He had put us in an extraordinary room after arriving on the 1st for Doug's surgery on his knee. It was amazing that whenever we had any need he or someone else on staff was right there helping us with all of our needs. We have always been extremely impressed with the hotel and the people working there. You can count on us staying here again! October 9, 2012
