Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by bad stay we rented two rooms for one nite and got in at 1015 exhausted from driving all day. got to rooms and smelled musty. the room my son stayed in had food which was left in frig for who knows how long and when he opened it , it stunk and smelled the room. I did not know until am or I would have called desk. June 6, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Customer Service I thought I had booked reservation at this location, but inadvertently booked at another Holiday Inn over an hour away. As I booked it after 6, policy is that is non cancelable. Called the other location anyway, and left message explaining my error for the GM. Not sure if it was Allen,GM of Mechanicsville location, or Hiram, GM of the Tappahanac location who made it happen, but got a call about an hour afterward that I would not be charged for reservation made in error! thank you guys, thank you Holiday Inn, thank you Priority Club. I know that they are independently owned and operated so I appreciate that I was not really "transferring" my reservation. Overall, room was clean, comfortable and breakfast selection was very good (not counting the automated pancake conveyor belt flapjacks). This is about halfway between my house and my daughter's school - will be staying here again. May 21, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay, great value What a very refreshing visit. We were greeted warmly by the attendant when we checked in- I could tell she was genuinely happy we chose her hotel. The rooms were spotless, the beds were comfortable and the television was all the latest. Breakfast was plentiful and hot, even when we showed up 5 minutes before it was scheduled over. We will stay here every time we travel this way! April 18, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor quality service from staff on duty When I arrived I was informed that my room was ready and I when I attempted to provide my Priority Card, I was simply told that my number was already in the system. I then was given the key for my room. Once in my room, I attempted to access the television, but received a continuous error message. I called the front desk and was told that the system would be reset remotely. After waiting 20 minutes, the television was still inoperable and thus, I called the Front Desk again. I was told by the staff on duty that he would come to my room and manually reset my television. After that was completed I was told to wait another 10 minutes before trying to turn the television on again. Once again the unit did not work. When I called again to the Front Desk the telephone was not answered. After the letting the phone ring 20 times I visited the Front Desk and informed the staff that I still could not access the television. He simply apologized, but offered no other solution. When I told him that I needed to have a television he offered to move me to another room. When I was given the new room it was not on the first floor as was my original request. When I inquired about alternate locations, I was told that only the upper floors were available. I was not offered any assistance with moving my luggage and belongings to new room and thus declined to be relocated. The entire stay was a complete disaster after that as I had no consistent way of remaining updated on the severe weather that was in the area. February 5, 2013
