Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfy as home. Front desk-awesome! We were treated very special from the moment we walked in the door. Anthony was very knowledgable and accommodating. I think he would have turned down our beds if we let him. Food for breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Everything looked so fresh! Really would have liked to be able to stay longer. The room was so comfortable and we liked that we could open the windows and enjoy the beautiful weather. It was a great experience in every way. May 21, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Should have informed me at checkin I checked in around 3:30 dropped my bags off in the room and took off for an appointment. After a long evening I picked up a sandwich and brought it back to my room around 8:30. Took off my shoes and was shocked that my feet were totally wet. Not only did that upset me a bit but when I sat down at the desk to eat my sandwich my pants were all wet like if I sat down in a puddle of water. Then I noticed on the desk there was a letter that they were cleaning carpets and upholstery and to be careful when stepping on the tiles because it could be slick. They didn't tell me it would be saturated. I also had work to do on my computer so I wound up eating and working from the bed for the rest of the evening. I had to put towels down to brush my teeth and put on makeup after showering. It was a very odd feeling that the room had this dampness about it so of course it was difficult sleeping. Being tired and hungry I did not call the front desk which was my mistake and should have asked for another room. Although I thoroughly appreciate having a clean room wherever I stay it would have been nice to let me know upon check in so I could have made a decision on the room. May 7, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dated property The price is too high for this property. The hotel is worn and tired. Time for a complete make over. The price should have been $50.00 per night less. I won't stay at this location again. I have been Platinum for twenty plus years. I enjoy the HIX brand and will look for the next closeest property when I work in this area. April 28, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Night's Sleep and wonderful service. My family and I have been coming to this property for over a decade. We've met some wonderful friends among the staff and always enjoyed our experience. Indeed, one can get a great night's sleep, the service is second to none. One small challenge, however, is the ability to find non-dairy products at the breakfast bar. I wrote several times about the lack of soy or non-dairy products to add to the cereal, but never did I find any changes. Despite this, the property is well-maintained and cheerful. April 12, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by OK hotel Poor internet This hotel is just OK. It is older and it shows. I hade little to no internet connection for my stay. I spent over a half hour every day on the phone with the internet company. The girl at the desk was very helpfull and tried but his is a hotel issue and I will most likely not stay here again when I am in this area. April 10, 2013
