Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by DOUBLE CHARGE I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Napoleon, Ohio this past weekend. While I love the fact that they allow dogs and the manager was friendly, I was double charged for my stay. When I addressed this with the front desk, as it happened in the middle of my stay, the guy behind the desk was clueless and not very helpful. The manager called my room and told me there was nothing they could do, so I needed to handle it with my bank. My bank asked for them to fax a letter to them with some information on a company letterhead. The manager could not even find company letterhead to send the fax. The Holiday Inn Express still has not removed the charge. I am extremely upset as I really did enjoy the hotel, but I do not enjoy being double charged for a weekend stay. November 6, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoyed the breakfast Compared to other HIE stays at other properties, this was below average. The rooms was smaller. There were stains on the padded furniture. The tub was slow to drain. The breakfast room was smaller but the choices were great. Parts of the pool were closed. I was billed before my stay. Usually I can switch credit cards to pay for the room. I don't like the pre-billing. It created a problem. October 26, 2012
