I'm out in this area 6 or 7 times a year and stay here all the time.
The staff has always be great and the rooms very comfortable. It isn't your regular Holiday Inn but is still a very great deal for the dollar....See you in June.

This was our second stay at this Holiday Inn Express and we of course would not have come back if our first stay had not been what we expected. We had a first floor room with exterior and interior doors and we very much liked that for the ease of off loading our things and not haveing to go outside in the winter weather to get to the lobby (our age is a factor here also). If we are in the area and need a moter we will again seek out this motel.

This hotel is old with old accommodations, including the beds. The bed frame was broken in our room. The bath tub was worn through to the metal, and the whole room just looked old. Could be why the parking lot was almost empty the night we stayed. Management did offer us another room for the broken bed but after 14 hours on the road and all unpacked we stayed where we were, too tired to move. Overall this hotel just does not meet the standard I have come to expect at Holiday Inn Express. The staff was friendly and accommodating it's just too bad the building is not of the same cut.

Interior Decor: Average Holiday Inn Express in the room. Emphasis on woods and antlers in the lobby.
Exterior appearance: Average Holiday Inn Express
Outside view from the room: Front of the hotel and Interstate 80 highway
Room size: Approximately 55 square meters. Generously big.
Price value: A bit overpriced , considering the cost of living in the city. Still, acceptable accomodation on Christmas Day.
Service: Friendly staffs.
Bed: Firm - King
Room: A bit insufficient lighting. Surprisingly good noise insulation, considering how close the hotel is to Interstate 80 with trucks and trailers moving throughout the night.

Great place to sstay after travelling from Dallas Texas. This was a different looking Holiday Inn from all the others that I visited. It hada rustic look to it. I was upgraded as a priority club member which does not occur at every hotel that I have stayed at. Had a good night sleep.

For Ogallala, NE this is about as good as it gets, but still disappointing. It doesn't measure up to what I'm accustomed to at other Holiday Inn Express hotels and a price that says we don't have much competition. This is the second time in six months that I've stayed at this hotel for business. Neither time was I recognized as a Priority Club member. I've gotten used to that as Priority Club memebership continues to hold less and less value to me. However, during both stays I left a wake-up call at the front desk and neither time did I receive the call. Fortunately with a time zone change I woke up on my own. During my June stay I notified the front desk of the system failure and the only response was, "Oh, we'll let someone know." There was neither an apology nor concern for my schedule. Last week I stayed there again and had all but forgotten the June incident until it happened again. I didn't bother to tell anyone this time, but may not choose this hotel on my next trip.

What at neat place to stay. The decor was fantastic! I wont tell so it wont ruim the surprise.

The hotel has a wonderful lobby. We stayed in the 3rd floor King with whirlpool tub. The room was HUGE. Lots of space and extremely clean. Plenty of pillow choices. Whirlpool/hot tub was so relaxing. We got the upgrade from 2 queens for an extra $4.00! Probably the only thing I didn't like was the room facing the interstate. If you need "white noise," it would be perfect for you. I would ask for this room on my next visit. Absolutely love this Holiday Inn.
