Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport you take highway 187 (Los Gobernadores Avenue) going towards San Juan. This street takes you to Highway 26. You will see a road sign indicating “Autopista Caguas” (highway 26). This highway divides into highway 22 and highway 18; take highway 18. Highway 18 divides again and becomes highway 52. Highway 52, also known as “Luis A. Ferré” highway, takes you all the way to Ponce. That will be about an 1 ½ hour drive. You will have to pass three tolls before you reach Ponce. Then you have to pass a 75¢ toll that takes you directly to highway 2 from the city of Ponce to Mayaguez. Before you take highway 2, you will take exit that reads “Guayanilla & Mayaguez”. You will be driving about 5 minutes and in the middle time you will pass three traffic lights. Holiday Inn & El Tropical Casino Ponce is located on top of a hill on your right side exit 221.
