The staff at this place are a very friendly and available group. The room is cleaned properly and without issue. I stay there for extended periods and typically have several of my crew stay there as well. There are other groups that also "live" there. Parking has become an issue, the other extended stay folks drive larger trucks, F-550's, 2 ton trucks and so on. They park with the cars in the designated parking spaces and take up more than one space. There is truck parking just to the east of the hotel....which is where I end up parking if I arrive later in the evening or on the street along with other guests! I have talked to the manager about asking this group to use the truck parking area so guests with normal size vehicles could use the parking available. She states "I'm working on it"....it's been a month! This is simply an inconvenience, actually it's inconsiderate. That's the only complaint I've got.

The hotel was nice, although I came in later in the evening and was told I had booked a smoking room double, when I had booked a king non-smoking online... luckily they were able to change that. Rooms and hotel were clean and nice, but the internet was a bit slow and for some reason, the cell coverage was absolutely horrible inside the room... don't know what was up with that but everything else was nice.

This was one of the top 5 Holiday Inn Express that I stayed in this year. The staff was very friendly. I felt like home when I stayed here. I would recommend this hotel if going thru Rawlins, WY to anybody.

We stayed at this hotel on out way up to visit my brother and again on our way back home from the visit. The staff is amazing and so friendly and helpful across the board. The front desk had fun activities for the kids (like fishing for prizes) and when we checked in we got to "spin" for a prize etc. The breakfast lady was super helpful with the kids and even brought them out crayons and a coloring book. Our room attendant was very helpful and friendly. Plenty of breakfast options, however I was a little disappointed in how dry the premade omlets and cinnamon rolls were, but that is just minor. Because we spend all day in the car getting there, one of the things we look forward to is the heated hot tub and pool and the trip up it was perfect - a hot hot tub and a pleasant temp in the pool, however on our trip back, both were cold which is why I gave the overall experience a 4 star- I had checked with the staff and was told they were not allowed to touch it and would have to submit a work order. So that part was disappointing, but overall still a great place to stay!
