Best breakfast spread I've seen @ the 8 or 9 HIX's I stayed at. Fresh baked goods (aside from the cinnamon rolls), croissants, choice of meats, both scrambled eggs & omelets, cream cheese with chives, soy milk are items I have not seen elsewhere.

The staff and manager make this one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It is a complete pleasure to stay at the Holiday In Express Richland. The manager makes every effort to make your stay a great one.
The breakfast bar is excellent and the nightly cookies add a lot to the stay.
The gym pass is also a huge plus. This alone would make me come back to this hotel.

Easy check in and moved me to a better room. Pool is great,clean room and facility. One of the best Holiday inn express that I have stayed at. Breakfast was just as good as other holidays, and awsome cookies!!

Nice hotel with friendly staff who made you welcome .
Everything has it should be.
Hot cooked breakfast . Pool and gym clean and well maintained.
Cookies and soup in the evening.

I recently stayed here and had to check out early due to business. I expected to pay for that night which was fine because i was checking out unexpectedly. The problem starts when they cant give me a copy of my bill. They say they can email it to me. I say okay and double check the email. Good to go right? Wrong!
I wait patiently thru the weekend, still no bill. I call them, get a bunch of excuses, give them another email and still no bill to my in-boxes. And yes, I checked the spam, junk, etc...
Im working in the area again this week, so I stop by to "pick up" a copy of the bill. Well, they give me a two page copy littered with debits and credits, taxes and fees, etc that I can barely understand. I only stayed 4 nights, it shouldn't be that difficult... I have to submit these for business expenses.
Again, I get more excuses from the front desk, and he is a so called "manager". All I wanted to hear was, Im sorry we screwed up, let me fix this. He even picks up the phone when Im trying to get an explanation on my bill and proceeds to talk to this person instead of asking them to hold...
I have stayed here many times in the past and this was the first time they totally flopped on their customer service, but Im going to try other hotels in the area for now on. It was totally disrespectful.

You wont be disappointed at this Holiday Inn Express.
The rooms, service, and breakfast are all excellent. They do something we've never seen done at any other motel - each evening they have a crockpot of freshly made soup and warm cookies set out....Yumm! Nice touch!!

As an Amazon employee, I visit the tri-cities frequently, and did not discover this Holiday Inn Express until 2013. I'm sorry it took so long. The rooms are spacious and well-kept, the front desk staff is terrific and, while I'm not a fan of carb-laden foods, breakfast is definitely a step-above the local offerings. I especially love the pool area - no one seems to know it's there, so I swim in the mornings. the workout room is depressingly familiar for the tri-cities - inexpensive cardio machines crammed into a small room with a television set. I could optimize the space in the room with some free weights and exercise mats.

The suite was a little high priced. But it was very nice and roomy. The location of the hotel, literally 2 minutes from the mall and less than 2 minutes from freeway access, made it ultra convenient.
The evening soup and cookies/milk were nice touches as well.
The only downside was that the maid did not change the bedding in the sofabed being used and also knocked on the door to do cleaning super early in the morning (our fault for forgetting to put the DND sign up)- but it was before 8 am. Also, when I first opened up the sofa to use the bed, there was rubbish/food crumbs- so not as clean as you would hope to find.
