The overall situation is good. Room is big and bath room is nice.
But the lobby has a strange smell. And welcome drink can not pack from the restaurant.

internet with cable is ok, but wifi is very slow.
Additionally internet surfing cost makes me feel not so comfortable. I stay in other holiday inn or Crown Plaza, where the internet and wifi is free.

As a priority club member I am always looking for a good deal at the IHG hotels. Usually, I am not disappointed! But my stay at your hotel made me regret my visit to Shanghai. It seems to me that it would be simple enough to put maintenance and repair information on the internet or send an e mail to the guest prior to their visit. I came to Shanghai for a relaxing weekend, fully expecting to enjoy the swimming pool, but alas it was under repair. The smell in the hall ways was so sickening. Fortunately the room was clean, comfortable, and odor free. The food in the Western Restaurant was just so so, at best. Perhaps it was an off day but, it really leaves a bitter taste (pun intended) in your mouth. I have grown to expect better from Holiday Inn. When I complained the response was a half-hearted "sorry."

酒店很不错，而且周围的环境很好，吃饭娱乐两不误！打车也比较容易，很不错的说，下次还继续入住。希望游泳池早日开放。

This is a nice hotel. The staff was nice and courteous. Gym is ok, would have been better if they have a sauna. The pool is under renovation, would be really nice to visit again once its done.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Comfortable hotel for Businesss
Overall stayed at this hotel was a wonderful one. The check in and out time were fast. The hotel room was big and a lot of the moving space. And with the ample supplied of toiletry. The bath room was big. When I was there, the hotel swimming pool was closed for upgrading. The spa was locked too.
The only problem of this hotel is the location. the nearest train station its about 20 minutes by walking. I had lost my way when I tried to look for this train station during my first day of search. Besides, the cabbies also not quite sure where was this hotel located. I needed to call the hotel for help before the cabby could bring me back.
If this hotel could provide the hourly bus service to the train station, this could provide a lot of convenient to their guest.

I usually stay at Pudong Nanpu Holiday Inn. As suggested by my Chinese friend I gave Jinxiu a try. It is a similar quality hotel with a pool and a better workout facility. The food quality and breakfast is about the same. I do not like getting nickel and dimes for internet which happened at Jinziu. I mean really? It is free in the lobby but it is 2013. Come on Jinxiu the internet is not rocket science and should be as common as soap in the shower.
