Not my first visit here - a perfect place to stay after a late arrival or early departure from Standsted Airport. The only irritating thing, especially when travelling with a family, is the cost of the shuttle service which easily adds the costs of a hotel night with a third.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by vgdijon Very noisy
The room was very noisy (3rd floor, in front of the parking and above the entrance of the hotel)
The room was relatively clean but the furniture was quite old (non-flat tv screen; cigarette burns on the sofa). Internet didn't work in the room that night and I couldn't call the reception from the room.
The breakfast was OK and starts early in the morning (4 am - the full breakfast with hot food is only available from 6 am)
Staff was friendly

I check-up, went to the room, noticed that there was no bathroom tissues in the holders (Kleenex). Went to the desk to ask replenish the supply. No supply of the Kleenex. Later I noticed that one light bulb was out (useful for shaving). Since management at the hotel could not bother to solve the Kleenex, I decided "why bother".

A great stop over for flights in Stanstead. Easy to get to by the shuttle bus, and comfortable beds. Everything that you need for a layover.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mike6264 Night before a flight
Queued at check-in due to shortage of staff, those working were extremely efficient and courteous but my wait was at least 10 minutes, it was a similar experience at the bar. Prices high at the bar. I have no complaints whatsoever about the room, apart from the TV remote which I found impossible to use (normally I am the 'remote man' at home!). A good night's sleep in a comfortable bed. But breakfast! Why offer a free breakfast when it is so disappointing? I will not rant here but it is probably best to head for the airport unless improvements are made, disappointing, especially the hot food on offer. But as a one night stop I guess it is passable.

we had to book a night here, because our flight landed quite late in the night. we arrived by taxi, didnt know bout the bus, and had a positive surprise, the hotel is very clean , the room very comf and clean, pity that tv was not included, but we were on holidays, so didnt needed any tv...
anyway, the day after we had a lovely breakfast
you would think it s corporate, so cold ecc, but its not... ist far warmer and personal than a lot of other family run businesses... i woudl go there again

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Earlyfligher No frills
The staff are friendly and the hotel is clean. The choice of food resembles that of Wetherspoons. The room was basic but that was to be expected. The one thing that stuck out however was the knackered mattress on the bed. The springs had expired many guests ago and one couldn't help but be rolled into the crater in the centre created by the lack of resistance - thoroughly uncomfortable. For a night before an early flight it is of reasonable value and its location adjacent to the mid stay car park is very convienent. You get pretty much what you'd expect for the price.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ausonius A Fairly Good Choice
Strategically located near the airport. Good quality/price relartion. Clean, allright, comfortable room and bathroom. Noiseless, despite the location. Kind staff and efficient shuttle bus to Stanstead Airport/train station, running from very early till late hours. Less than 5 minute drive, only 1 mile away, but quite costly (£ 3 one-way)
