Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent hotel! We had a school function and decided to stay at this hotel. Lurdis checked us in and was so very friendly and accommodating! She was also kind enough to let us use the meeting room to practice for our competition the following day! The rooms were very nice and the kids enjoyed the breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be coming back in the future! April 21, 2013

This property was memorable for the fact that the staff was "over the top" in their efforts to be accommodating to guests. Not only did they satisfy my every request (with charming smiles) but I overheard other guests request accommodations and these, too, were satisfied with practiced, genuine customer service. The property was exceptionally neat and clean (outside and inside). There were no annoying noises from traffic or other sources while I was there. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who has reason to stay overnight in the Tyler, TX area. April 18, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by cheapest holiday inn express ever I stay at HI Express so that i know the level of hotel i will be staying in. This one somehow qualifies as the cheapest ever. Not the price. An example, the fitness center is a joke. The machines were not usable as they we not even of a home consumer grade. i would suggest the corporate hotel person try out the elliptical and see if it is safe. These are details that HI Express guests expect, at least this one. Will not be back to this hotel. April 15, 2013
