Overall everything was good. Nice clean rooms, good location, and friendly staff. Food was average and a little pricey but can't beat the convenience of a full bar and restaurant on site. The pool was nice, although maybe a little excessive chlorine use.

My family had rooms here for a graduation and family reunion. We all had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. I had the two-bedroom suite so that all of us could get together in the larger living area, which was comfortable and adequate for our needs. Everyone enjoyed the pool area, which was clean and well stocked with towels and lounging furniture. The staff was friendly and responsive to requests from all of us. When I return to Waco, I will stay at this hotel again.

This Holiday Inn is pretty big, and new. The atmosphere and decor is nice in the lobby and in the rooms. It is also conveniently located near the highway. I will definitely be staying here again when visiting my daughter at MCC.

As a frequent business traveler it is important to me to find accommodations that will allow me to both relax and help me forget the turmoils and challenges of my day. The last thing I feel I need at the end of any hard day is to be challenged by over-bearing and demanding hotel administration staff; well, HI Waco did provide all the positive stuff I could have wished for and none of the bad. As reported by a trusted Travel Agent (Francine) from my office, a pleasant reservation staffer actually located at the hotel worked with her to find a last-minute sanctuary for her wary co-worker. Even though all the hotels in the entire region were scrambling to house hundreds of my fellow emergency responders, the HI staffer was able to provide food and lodging for the days we required.
Check-in was pleasant, quick and seamless. Above all my spot-less room was both quiet and comfortable. The thermostat had been set in advance so that I was not greeted by an A/C unit screaming at me in an attempt to bring the room to a suitable temperature. I found that a restful sleep came quickly.
In the morning I jumped out of bed, grabbed the newspaper from the floor beside the door, prepared for the day and then enjoyed a full and hearty meal in the lobby restaurant.
The balance of my stay was no less pleasant than as was described above. Thank you for making it easy for us to help others HI Waco.

Excellent Hotel and Restaurant. Great staff always helpful with any inquiry. We stay at this Hotel everytime we travel through the area. We can alway count on getting a clean comfortable room at the end of a long day's travel.

Traveling students were up and down the hall and party noise all night long. The hotel clerk responded they should have not placed me on this floor. Priourty Club Member since '96.
