We have stayed at this facility many times. However, we were disappointed this trip as the bathroom sink would not drain properly. When we removed the stopper, we found it to be clogged with "gunk" indicating it was never maintained.
Our a/c unit was also very loud either needing to be overhauled or replaced. Time for an audit check on maintenance!

My wife and I work on the road and spend 200+ nights in hotels in a year. We always try to stay at Holiday Inn because overall we get consistent clean rooms. We spent 3 nights at this hotel so we could take a few days off work and visit family in the area, the staff here was awesome! Everyone we encountered at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, the housekeeping staff were all very friendly and even the maintenance people we met were exceptionally friendly. We will go out of our way from now on to stay at this hotel when we get in the area.

The personnel were welcoming, friendly and efficient. The room was nice & clean, the bed comfortable. Bathroom clean. Breakfast was minimal. Scrambled eggs were good.

I drove from Florida to South Carolina for the Rice festival and the front desk person allowed me to check-in early. I really appreciated the service that was given. I am a manager myself at an IHG property and the level of service from the front desk even down to the room attendants was super. As I was on my way up the elevators the housekeeper started a conversation with me and I think that is a great quality to have throughout the staff. Keep up the great work. I do recommend you to stay here if you're ever in the Walterboro area.

This Holiday Inn Express is by far the cleanest, most well maintained and organized of all! Staff is knowledgable and friendly. Breakfast was fresh and wonderful. Wish they all could be like this one. I will purposely look for this one on our frequent trips down I-95.
