Clean and comfortable rooms. Very pleasant staff. A very nice Happy Hour with snacks and drinks for Priority Club members on Wednesday nights. We were lucky to happen to show up on a Wednesday.

We breathed a sigh of relief when we saw the Holiday Inn sign. We were exhausted from a long day of driving, and knew we would get a super clean room and comfortable beds for a reasonable price. So dependable, and we love the extras like a bottle of water or cup of coffee and a cookie at check-in. Also, knowing the check-in person will ask about eligible discounts like AAA, AARP, et c. without our having to remember to ask.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Deann2013 Clean rooms and fabulous service
We make a point to stay at
Holiday Inn Express when we travel.
We have never had a dirty room or bad experience.
This one was exceptional.
From the minute we walked in the front door and were
greeted by the awesome young lady behind the desk.
Clean pools, clean rooms, just plain clean.
Go and enjoy your stay.
We did.

I stay in Holiday Inn's over 50 nights a year. The people at the Holiday Inn in Warrenton, MO were extremely profession and courtesy.
We left an item in the room and hotel staff mail us the item the next day.
Great place to stay.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ccurts Best hotel near Lincoln County,in 35+ yrs of multiple visits per year
For 35+ years, travel every 8 wks (+/- 2 wks) to visit Large family in county few miles north of this hotel. This hotel surpasses all used at Troy, St. Charles, St. Peters, O'Fallon, Foristell, Wentzville, and Warrenton, MO, motels and hotels, over all those years, with only one facility in St. Peters coming slightly close to this quality.
Review and Experiences, mostly within last 6 days:
Prices:
--For this quality, cost is within $10-15 per night of the fair quality places I had to use in the past 12-18 months.
--City taxes higher than other areas; many best discounts cover less than total taxes, but discounts still make it a bargain.
Room Quality:
--Appliances, lamps, furniture drawers all worked with No Quirks, loose switches, or hassles.
--Maintenance very prompt - developing problem we said it could wait until we checked out was fixed correctly the first time while we were out later during the same day we reported it.
--Housekeeping recognized us after two visits, saved a forgotten item, cross-referenced it with our check-in info suspecting we would return, saved it. One month later, we did return, lady remembered us, came to us and returned item. (Husband had been looking for it for previous 3 wks.)
--Hard water.
--Bed linens soft, 4 pillows per bed (labeled Soft), all linens including bedspreads very clean. Comfortable to keep cool in hot temps and keep warm in cool/cold temps. Rugs clean, and saw housekeeping vacuum rooms daily.
--Had 1 more towel/cloth set than # of guests on each of last 4 visits, which we needed each time.
--Room shampoo, conditioner enough for 1 person with long hair and 3 heavy washes or for 2 people with moderately short hair. No waste.
Amenities:
--Hot tub & pool open 8am-11pm CST (recently extended hours). Towels already in the pool/hot tub area. Only valid key entries.
--Hot breakfast, good variety. Only negative comment, what looks like poached eggs have hard yokes and flat taste. Learned they are frozen prepared eggs reheated in the oven. Good comment, low fat milk and cream cheese for bagels available. Good variety of fruit juices that diabetics can drink.
Electronic Systems:
--Internet access is, in fact, high speed, regardless time of day.
--Internet works in parking lot when close to building; stops near front entrance when leaving property (even if you are still checked into room).
--Business center Very Small, but we had no competition.
Room Safety:
--Room fire safety has both sprinklers and smoke alarms. (Unsure if the smoke alarms include fire/heat alarms, too.)
Building Security (seem Very security conscious):
--Front door locked after hours; security button/ring for Front Desk to grant late night access for checkins.
--Building security card-key locks (outside doors) in excellent working condition: unit firmly secured to door; no loose handles; no missing or loose screws; access granted on first attempt, no need to try multiple times.
Disability Accommodations Per ADA:
--Accepted service dogs with no fuss.
--All dogs allowed only on 1st floor; good for disabled persons because it minimizes walking/accessing rooms (whether have a service dog or not).
--Much handicapped parking. CAUTION: Slow decline from sidewalk to parking lot level adjacent to vehicle doors actually continues the same decline across the rest of the parking lot !
We had a runaway luggage cart because of this, but don't make the same mistake I did. I could not get the mobile luggage cart to "park" by the van because of two mistakes. 1) I pulled the cart into place, instead of pushing is, so the back end swayed back and forth increasing the cart's speed down the incline. 2) I did not verify all the front wheels were pointed at an angle toward the vehicle. (Our hearing service dog herded the cart as I tried to run ahead to grab it. Doggy saved the day; he stopped it from hitting someone's new car.)
--Hotel willingly assigned room(s) for our specific disability needs, even though we did not need an accessible room. (Called them directly.)
--Mobile trolley/carts for luggage almost always available when we needed one.
24/7 Refreshments for All Guests, not just Rewards members:
--Free coffee (reg and decaf) available off front lobby in breakfast room (open area); at night, front desk voluntarily makes fresh pots if you want coffee when you arrive.
--Iced water with orange slices available 24/7 in lobby (cups next to the jug).
Rewards Members receive:
1 cold bottled water for each guest
1 chocolate cookie for each guest
Staff Congenialtiy:
--Courteous, constantly smiling, joyful staff/workers in all
workgroups. All very helpful showing and coaching guests to access wi-fi, use business center, find correct highway and understand confusing map instructions, and more.
Other Safety Protections for Guests:
--Front desk monitors indoor pool and hot tub on remote camera. Took action to ensure guest safety. Saw my disabled husband not move about 15min (in pool). Staff member went to him, found him asleep. Husband has narcolepsy (uncontrolled sleep attacks); can be induced by "bad" OR "good" stress. Hot tub and pool relaxed muscles, minimized pain, induced "good" stress sleep attack from which he could not arouse himself. Staff's action helped him.
May you enjoy your stay as much as we have our several stays in the last few months.
