Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by I've stayed at alot of Holiday Inn hotels before, but this one... I've stayed at alot of Holiday Inn hotels before, but this one I wont be coming back to, even if it means I have to stay in a different chain. I came in late on the first night, was not noticed as a Priority Club member, was told that my room with a King bed didn't have running water or a working TV. I was offered a different room with double queen size beds as my option. I asked about a possible upgrade because I am a Platium Elite member and was told that none where available and that once I took the room for the week, I could not be moved to a different room and the double queen bed room was my only option. I took the available room, because I was tired. The following day while returning from work, I saw several King and available larger room empty that the staff left the doors open for the entire day. I passed the front desk several times and there was not anyone attending the the area, even very late at night with the front doors left open. I can't say that I enjoyed the stay at this hotel, nor felt that there was any security with the doors open late at night and several rooms left open for long periods of time and would not stay a second time. But the breakfest was good.... May 8, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff The staff at this HIE is one of the best I've encountered. Sue at check-in was outstanding with her professionalism under pressure. Trish went above and beyond in reponding. Thank you both for your GREAT service! April 25, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by All great but the check in The check in was extremely slow, i'm not sure if it was fault of the people in line though? April 17, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by room was fine Room was fine but thought I would have had a micro had a fridge but no micro. there were allot of others in the motel I understand that but the excess noise was not needed. THE BIGGEST ISSUE WAS THE BREAKFAST SERVICE, I was in town for work and I worked Thursday to Tuesday so I got he weekend shift. Breakfast was wonderful the first morning Thursday after that food was well over cooked and a little late in coming out. And by Monday morning I was told there was little to eat because the motel was full all weekend, really. I did not eat Tuesday morning. thanks for your time April 17, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel was pretty good for a travel hotel, but... Hotel was pretty good for a travel hotel, but could have been much better with some simple steps. There were ice machines only on some floors. Had to change floors to get ice. When I checked in, I wasn't refered to as a Priority Club Member. But for a business travel it was fine. April 8, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No Heat We were on a business trip and did not realize that there was a wrestling tournament in the area. I think we got the last available room in town. It was fairly late when we checked into the hotel. When we got to our room, it was cold. The heater wasn't working. The people working the desk were nice but they couldn't do anything to get the heater working. We would have left except that there was no place to go that night. The desk clerk gave us extra blankets and said that he would leave a note for the manager in the morning. The next day I ask for some compensation back on the room cost because the hotel did not live up to what should be an expectation of comfort... All she would give was $20.00 off the room. While I expected to pay something, I felt her generosity was a bit underwhelming. I think Holiday Inn Express is better than that... April 7, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor management I was not greeted as Priority Club member. I was initially given an incorrect room number. There were no cookies, even though the tray box was still on the front desk counter. The public office did not have a computer that worked and no internet connection--this had been broken at least three days, according to another guest. The thermostat in the room had a beep sound that came on every time before the heat came on. The breakfast did not have pancakes, as the machine had broken several days earlier. When I checked out, the front desk person offered to refund me $12...hardly seemed enough. All in all, it seemed that management had not done a good job of training employees and of staying on top of items that needed prompt attention. April 7, 2013
