Although there was construction going on at the time. Me and my family had a great time and food is right across the street. i would go again.

I was in town for a sad event. The funeral of a good friend. The manager and staff ensured that I received the discounted rate and provided outstanding service. In addition, they made sure I could update my rewards member information and offered to assit in any future stay needs.

The hotel was undergoing construction so getting access to the temporary lobby was difficult. There was no warning about the construction or discount offered for the inconvenience. The room key wouldn’t open the exterior door near our room so we had to go through the temporary lobby to gain access to the hotel. The staff’s key was able to open the lock. The staff was unable to fix the lock so our key wouldn’t open the door.
They didn't have the type of room we reserved. They claimed people stayed over. Don't accept the reservation if you can't provide the type of room which was reserved. They didn't offer any compensation for not having the type of room we reserved.
They charged their high pet fee per pet. The pet policy on the website did say the fee was per pet. Whether there was one or more than one pet in the room, the cleaning was going to be the same. Any extra cleaning wasn’t going to be done for each pet in the room. So they were charging twice for the same service that they were only going to do once. Any reasonable pet fee would not charge per pet. Especially, since the State sales tax was applied to this fee. That just doesn’t seem right. The policy should limit the number of pets to no more than 3. If each pet is going to be charged, then the fee for more than one pet should be reduced. For example, the first pet is $10 and the each additional pet is $5 up to a total of three pets making the total fee for 3 pets $20.
Since they accept pets and charge a high fee for them, it would be nice to have waste collection stations around the hotel so pet owners can clean up after their pets. If they don’t provide waste collection stations, they should at least provide garbage cans so the pet owners who pick up after their pets have some place to discard the waste.
A designated pet area would be nice. A fenced area would be great so the dogs could get off their leash for a while.

Eggs were cold and no breakfast meats. Asked when they be ready the kitchen attendant said that we're not serving those this morning. Well then don't advertise them!

I have stayed at this hotel regularly since it opened. The staff has ALWAYS been extremely polite and accomodating.
But........when this hotel was built, they used very cheap furnishings in the rooms. And now, through normal wear-and-tear things are falling apart in the rooms.
I have had one desk and two chairs fall apart (completely!)
And in every room that I have stayed in over the past year, at least one of the chairs is too wobbly to sit in.
These chairs are the ones that service the desk where I do my laptop reports in the evenings, and these chairs don't even have wheels on them! VERY CHEAP.
Though the rooms are clean, they are still in need of repairs with new plaster and paint.
Recently, they had a water leak on the top floor and they have closed off several rooms and the lobby.
Even with out that disater, the rooms were in need of sprucing up.

The hotel is undergoing renovations and I believe they should have closed the facility, renovated and then reopened. There is no clear entrance, sheets of plastic are hanging everywhere, and our room was in a very noisy area.
Very disappointing.
