Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Spacious Rooms
The Hotel has easy access from I-5 freeway and enjoyed my stay. Only issue was the the tight fitted sheet on the bed, it became loose in the middle of night.
The staff was friendly and took care of our stay in the best manner.

i have stayed at the Yreka Holiday Inn Express four times now in the last five months. The only complait I have is with the bedding. The bottom sheet does not seem to fit the bed. Half way through the night, I have to get up and remake the bed in order not to sleep on the bare mattress. Please do something about the bed sheets so they acturally fit the bed. Tahnk you.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hal11 LYarge, comfortable rooms
Yreka is in the mountains, so take a jacket for cool to cold evenings. Rooms are large and comfortable. Like most hotel rooms of modern design, room lighting is inadequate for meaningful reading or paperwork. Breakfast selections are wide and food quality is very good. All in all, a nice place to stay. We did not experience the noise between rooms that another reviewer mentioned. We would be happy to stay here again.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disillusioned Rude Staff
This was to be a 4 night stay that combined rewards points credit with paid nights. We had a travelling companion that needed to pay for two of the nights. It was explained that the nights not covered by the rewards points, our traveling companion would just have to inform the front desk and the transaction would be seamless. It was nothing close to seamless. The front desk clerk was rude and at best incompetent. She could not figure out what was being asked of her. She had to ask other employees to help. Even with the help she could not work the situation out. I became so frustrated I had to provide my credentials to complete the transaction only after being insulted and the desk clerk walking away just to make more rude comments from around the corner. This was in spite of us being assured when we registered that this would not be a problem.

We stayed at this hotel 10/26/2012. What a disappointment for this visit. We were subjected to listening to a football team of young children racing through the corridors and up and down the stair ways. They banged constantly on our bedroom doors - they had a competition to see who could slam their bedroom door the loudest. They even managed to pull one of the doors in the hotel off it's hinges. This behavior lasted for hours.
The only discussion with weary fellow guests at breakfast next morning was " Where were their parents" ?
