The bathtub did not drain and the toilet did not flush. I reported it but no one came to fix it. I told the front desk again when I checked out but they just said "Oh I'm sorry". And did Nothing!!!

In an effort to not beat this horse to death now that I have spoken with Richard, the property manager, I will say that the front desk staff needs training. I have left a long review on TripAdvisor regarding our experience and reviewed this hotel on facebook.
At Richards assurance I have responded to him that I will give them another opportunity this upcoming weekend. We will be re-instating our reservation with them, using his offer of a comp night.
I will review them again after this. What I can say is I have stayed here many times over the years and NEVER had this experience. Employees where always overly friendly and helpful. My daughter loves the entire resort and we have been to all the Landrys restaurants and the San Luis and this is the ONLY bad experience we have ever had. And it was only the hotel staff. The Jetty staff was excellent. So in all fairness I will give them another review that I hope will be 5 stars.

I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Galveston. The staff is very helpful and do everything in their power to make your stay the best. They didn't have a king room available, per the computer, when we arrived - but after just a few minutes, we were relaxing in our room. Then, they were very helpful with a selection of local restaurants and discounts which may be available. The location is great as well!! Right across the street from the beach, and close to some fine eating as well.
