The staff was great! Amy was especially helpful, I worked everyday and she helped by taking care of my dogs while I worked so the housekeeping staff could clean my room. Nice people!

This place was AMAZING! Our daughter had given birth to our grandson in the early morning hours on Sunday. The arrangements we made for sleeping fell thru at the last minute so at 630am, we were trying to find a place to sleep after being up for 24 hours. Since I wanted to use my reward points, I wanted to call prior to making reservations to be sure I could check-in early that morning (7am) and get a late check-out for 2pm that day. Without missing a beat, the front desk staff welcomed us. I made the reservation online and headed to the hotel.
We were greeted by name and she already had everything printed and ready. I reminded her of the late checkout so we could get 5 or 6 hrs of sleep. She then informed me that I wouldn't need to check out until MONDAY!!! She was marking me as an early arrival and to take my time and relax. This was much more than I had ever imagined.
Staff upon checking in and out were friendly and sincere. I will definitely recommend this location and brand to my friends and coworkers.
Thanks again for a wonderful stay and experience.

The front desk personnel were excellent. Even the young gentleman who could not answer my question tried his best and even used his "phone a friend" option to help me! I was very impressed. Hotel was very clean and comfortable and quiet. The location is excellent, several great franchise restaurants nearby, a grocery store, two pharmacies. Very convenient to it all.

I stay with IHG over 250+ nights a year and have always had a great experience. However, I regret wasting a rewards night at this hotel. When I arrived it looked fantastic and the same held true inside the lobby. The check in process was pretty easy. I get a cart, load up my items, take the elevator to the second floor and go to my room. I tried to turn on the TV while unpacking my things but it wouldn't work. Strike 1. I had to run some errands so I decided to leave. I got back on the elevator to go back to the first floor to return the cart. However, the elevator didn't work. Well sorta. It goes up and it will go down but the first floor button was broken so there is no way to make the elevator go down. I left the cart in the elevator, take the stairs, go back to the elevator and make it come down so I could return the cart. Strike 2. When I returned two hours later I took the stairs but that was my choice. As I walked down the halls people were smoking. Strike 3. I get to my room and the remote still doesn't work so I went to the elevator, got in and the button was still broken so I took the stairs. Strike 4. The guy up front was very polite and switched my remote but that one didn't work either. I called down to the front and he brought me one that worked. For that he gets an A for customer service. He tried his best to resolve my problem and he did. The wasn't any sugar in the room for coffee so I went to the cupboard. There wasn't any there either. I asked him to please get me some but he told me they were still out. Same with the coffee creamer. All they had was cinnamon. I also needed some medicine for heartburn and this was the very first IHG hotel that only had two types of OTC mess. Strike 5. The next morning I woke up at 4am because it was going to be a long day. I went to the front desk and told them that I needed a late check out because I needed to come back around 2pm and shower and change for a function. I was told that wasn't possible. I'm Spire Elite and am under the impression that if the hotel is not booked I can check out by 3 or 4pm. I went on my IHG app and they had plenty of rooms and they were not booked. Therefore, I had no option but to pack up and leave. Strike 6. In addition, I was not recognized as an IHG member. Strike 7. I also was not offered bonus points or a goodie bag. Strike 7. I was on a rewards night and this is the only hotel that hasn't given me 500 bonus points. The facilities were clean and the gentleman up front did the best he could but all of these problems are a clear indication of bad management.

Ashley and Amy helped make my 2 month stay much more bearable. Not that the experience at Stone Oak Candlewood suites was unbearable. For me, staying an ANY hotel (1-5 star) for 2 months could get to be a bit unbearable. Upon introducing myself at the desk and before she even started checking me in, Ashley was already well aware and acknowledged the fact that I would be with them for awhile. Check in was fast and simple.
There appeared to be some front desk staff turnover during the course of my stay but Amy and Ashley were there for what seemed like almost every day during that time to greet me with a "Hello", a smile, and an always friendly attitude. :-)
Thirty days into my stay I realized I would need to extend my stay for another 15 days passed the 45 I initially reserved. Amy took care of that with no problem and kept the rate I was already paying. What a relief!!

It is always a pleasure to stop at your hotel and especially now that we are in the process of relocating in another state. It is stressful enough moving the entire household and the last thing you need is to worry about a restful night. Thank you for a restful staying and a very good service.
