Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One of the best stays I have had in a long time Being a consultant I keep traveling the world and have stayed at many other properties including that of IHG in other places. But this one was the best experience, especially with the Handy being the best feature of the stay. A phone that helps you move around, stay in touch and keeps you connected to everything that you need - all complimentary!! And that besides a nice executive suite and all regular features of Intercontinental - excellent rooms, excellent service.....I would definitely keep coming to this property for all future trips for sure. I had a great experience at the hotel from check in to room to dining to its excellent location in Kowloon. This will definitely be my go to hotel in Hong Kong from now on! June 29, 2015

One thing I love is the billing statement it's very clean and just one liner for every night/day stay.. not add in and deductions its easy to read and confirm all line items.! June 25, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not what you would normally expect from the Intercontinental brand or a 5-star hotel Stayed for four nights separated by one night (in Macau) in-between. First two night stay was unimpressive to say the least. The check-in process was ok and bags arrived quickly to the room. However, the reception staff were not particularly friendly. Room was average (Deluxe Side Harbour View) - the rooms really need updating, only positive was the bed. The bathroom is poor - I am quite tall and had to bend down to get my head under the shower. Not good at all. Second two night stay was much better. Check-in staff were much more friendly and after asking for an upgraded room, the assistant kindly agreed to give me a Premier Side Harbour View room at no additional cost. These are essentially renovated Deluxe rooms. As soon as you walk out of the lift you feel as if you are in a different hotel compared to the Deluxe room floors. All of the hallways and lift areas have been completely renewed. The room has a mobile phone that you can use for free to call local and international numbers (select Asian and European countries) and can be used as a hotspot so you can use your own mobile phone internet services (Whatsapp, Maps, etc) as normal. Bathroom is much improved - it has a proper shower (no bath) and has been fully modernised. Bed comfort is good like the Deluxe room. The 'side harbour view' is good - it is not an uninterrupted view of the harbour but probably worth the small increase in cost from a standard room. Internet in rooms is inconsistent. At times it is very fast, other times extremely slow. Make sure you join the loyalty programme (free) so that access to in-room wifi is free. Concierge knowledge was terrible. First evening I asked if there were any nice local bar areas and the concierge just pointed to the one empty bar across the road - not what I wanted. Didn't bother asking them anything else, just used the internet to find everything out. Overall, if you are on a tighter budget and cannot afford the more expensive 5-star hotels around the area then it is a good option. Otherwise, I cannot recommend this hotel at all. Definitely not up to 5-star standards. More like a 4-star. June 25, 2015
