The website says its family friendly but we didn't find this to be the case. - Staff a little unhelpful - clearly not used to small children. - Broken high chairs in the restaurant (and too small to get a toddler in!). - Not great food options for toddlers. Also had to wait for the restaurants to open at 6pm.. - Staff not that familer with toddler needs in general. The hotel was also a bit chaotic. - Door staff focused on certain customers. - Forgotten newspapers. - Still cleaning room when we were shown in. - Noisy hotel on the first night.. - No reflection of IHG status. We raised this at the time and we have been offered a free breakfast next time. To be honest we'd probably find somewhere more family frindly than go back so we won't take them up on it. There are a lot of great hotels out there that really cater for Toddlers... Intercontinental could learn a lot from them. 23. Dezember 2014
    Rated 1,0 out of 5,0 by Very poor,leaving a guest to walk out. This review is regarding my stay 20 dec. At check inn i was upgraded to London executive room,which comes normally with free club access but was told the club was over commited and they wont grant me free access. I mention the ambassador rules that say:if a club room is given the club access should be given,park lane have no room called club room so the equivalent is London executive room which is different from the executive(club access with fee) I contacted IHG guest relation but the hotel was inflexible and i wasnt going to pay for something i consider my benefit i ended up leaving the hotel same day. Its unfortunate from a property to leave a top tier Royal ambassador walking out but this hotel have had always issu regarding club access. I will just mention few intercontinental that granted me free club access this year:Beirut,Amman,Dubai,Athens,Lisbon,Budapest,Frankfurt, Westminster,Madrid,Las Vegas and even Paris&Istanbul on reward night,and the only property constantly causing problem is Park Lane. The funny thing is they keep changing their mind last february i was upgraded from classic to suite with free club access,last november upgraded classic to suite but no access as they said their club is excluded,this time upgrade classic to London executive and no access as the club was over commited. After corresponding with hotel the guest relation manager wrote all guests booking from classic to executive must pay for club access including Royal,and this means if a aroyal book executive and been upgraded to club room(london executive)he will have to pay and this is in contradiction with ambassador rule:if club room given(not booked),then club access should be given(not pay for). I posted a review on 6 november and i asked the hotelnto clarify its policy but until today no comment,Park lane is too busy. 22. Dezember 2014
    Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Great Service I was very impressed with the professionality of the staff. they were friendly without being over friendly. Service was prompt, efficient and provided with the highest quality expected. I had an evening flight out of London, and requested a late checkout, which was immediately adjusted by the Reception desk. Overall my stay at the Intercontinental Park Lane helped in making my stay much more enjoyable. I already recommended this Hotel in particular to my family and business colleagues, who frequent London for business and pleasure. 22. Dezember 2014
