Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by high expectations been a guest of Intercontinental hotels world wide for over 20 years now. As usual, staff was excellent and well trained. But, the LA Intercontinental hotel rooms needs a major upgrade. peeling wallpaper, broken tile flooring, just not I expect from an Intercontinental. Hope they can get it right. 4. September 2014
Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by Somewhat dirty, internet-less experience Upon arrival the front desk was odd and made a joke about me being there to deliver pizzas. I don't believe my rewards status was mentioned, although he casually stated I was getting some points. Once in the room, it seemed alright, but outdated with dings on the doors, scuffs on the walls, and somewhat dirty some places. The tv was old and outdated. The balcony view was nice, but there was dirt/grime all over, and the cushions seemed dirty. The flower boxes had dead plants and weeds. The internet in the room never worked, even after speaking with the front desk, who gave us a secondary number to call for a technician. We then had to sit on the phone with the technician for a while who was rude and unsuccessful in getting us internet access. The parking fee was insane, second only to the cost to bring a companion animal. On check out, our final bill was wrong charging us for two nights of parking rather than one, although it was corrected after a few minutes. Overall, it was an ok stay, but in a lot of ways pretty disappointing. 4. September 2014
Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Excellent Service and Location This was my first stay at the Intercontinental Los Angeles. Other than a very nice, clean, and fresh hotel, the service and attitude of the staff was impeccable. Added to that, the location was perfect for my needs during this trip with easy access to the 10 and 405 freeways. Definitely will return. 2. September 2014

Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Shelly U The only reason I did not give the hotel five stars is because of their charges for parking and connecting to the internet. If Mcdonalds can offer their customers free WiFi I see no reason why a high end hotel needs to charge its guests for this service. Parking charges are on the high side plus the obligatory tip every time they bring your car. In spite of these complaints I and my wife love this hotel and have now stayed here twice and look forward to returning. 28. August 2014

We had my wife's dress steamed and it was delivered 45 minutes late which made us miss a wedding. This was a disaster. We flew to LA for the wedding and ended up missing it due to poor service. 27. Rated 1,0 out of 5,0 by Below Average My stay at the property was average until my repeated bad experiences with George from the concierge. Never the less, I have to say front desk, room service, bell service and valet parking are all below average. The hotel is a very good example were the Intercontinental Hotels are starting to lose the standard I was previously used too. Time to change. Complaints are not responded to at all. 26. August 2014
