    Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by Not so good I've stayed at different intercontinental hotels many times and always had a great experience. This time unfortunately it was not the case. I made a reservation months in advance for a king size bed yet got a double bed and could not be switched due to availability. The housekeeping was poor, had to call back to get the toilet cleaned and found dirty underwear from a prior guest in the closet. The parking attendant lost my rental car key and after an hour when I asked to go to the garage and look myself found keys had been left in the car. The phone had an issue and kept ringing every hour or so. Lobby computer to print boarding passes was not working and when I mentioned at front desk was just told 'sorry' instead of trying to help with me some other way. 5. Januar 2013
    Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Standard Good Nothing special. Plan on getting nickel and dimed for every little thing. Room was great, very beautiful. Location was excellent. Valet parking was mandatory and over 10% of the final bill. No recognition for priority club membership. 5. Januar 2013
    Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by Enjoyed my Stay - Great Location and Dessert; Noise level for adjacent rooms high Overall, I had a great stay. The location is fabulous and the on-site restaurant is good. I enjoyed the Desserts! The Bay View is really nice and the rooms offer electric blinds and screen to enjoy the view. The sleep comfort of the bed and pillows were nice. The only complaint was the noise level for adjacent rooms and I did not get recognized as an Ambassador Member. 4. Januar 2013
    Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by EXCELLENT STAY My family and I stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel two nights after a cruise. The room was nice and comfortable and the staff's customer service was superb. We received a call in the middle of the day asking if we were enjoying our stay and if we needed anything! The location is great, we walked to the Bayside Marketplace for dinner and did a little shopping and also caught one of the Miami Heat games at the American Airlines Arena. We will return to this hotel when visiting Miami! 2. Januar 2013
    Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Spacious room and great views Beautiful and upbeat lobby. Spacious room and the most beautiful view of the port! You MUST stay in a water view room - incredible (and really worth every penny). Right next to Bayfront Park and minutes of walking from Bayside Marketplace. Good value for how much I paid. But I've experienced better from InterContinental and from similar upscale brands, so I was let down in a few aspects: 1. If you stay in a room with a light display in the window (most floors), at night even with ALL the window shades down, the light still flickers into your room. Blackout shades do not reach the bottom. 2. Called in to ask if they had slippers beforehand, they said yes, request upon arrival. Got there, no slippers available. There was also no body wash in the amenities. Even the Holiday Inn Express has that. 3. No gym/spa access - had to pay $15 extra a day. Basic machines should be free. 4. Upon check-in, two agents at counter assisting no one. My family arrived at counter, no one even glances up. Lady looked up and noticed us but just nudged the next person to help us, who was the Manager on Duty. Not a welcoming first impression, but the rest of the stay helped make it up. Overall, wonderful hotel/location, but should focus more on the service and details. 2. Januar 2013
    Rated 1,0 out of 5,0 by Terrible Room We arrived at the property at midnight and had 3 rooms reserved. The room was filthy. There was trash on the floor in the bathroom, the fabric frame around the bed was filthy, rug wasn't swept. I called downstairs and ordered room service. The next day when we returned the room was no better and the room service tray was still there and so was the trash. The dirty towels we left on the floor were folded and put back on the rack-I don't reuse towels at home so why would I reuse them from the dirty floor in the hotel? We have stayed at the Boston property and it was wonderful. This was not so. We had the breakfast included. Coffee was never hot, they had a 4 slice toaster and dozens of people waiting to use it. We were there 6 miserable days. They didn't even replace the coffee and creamer without being called and I was sick of calling them. They need to clean their rooms! 2. Januar 2013
    Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by breakfast buffet My daughter had the breakfast buffet on Sunday morning before we left on our cruise. I made the mistake of not looking at the menu for the pricing so when i saw $24.00 per person i was really surprised. I felt that $24.00 for the buffet was to say the least over priced. There was a minimal choice of food. For the money i paid i really would have expected quite a bit more. 2. Januar 2013

    Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by 11-24-12 Overnight before the cruise! What a beautiful hotel! The lobby is stunning (and it has a Starbucks!). Our King room was HUGE. The bed was very comfortable. The long window had automatic sheers and drapes that closed with the touch of a button. The bath had double sinks, a separate tub and a walk-in shower with double rainheads. Biscayne Bay Park was directly across the street and an easy walk led to the Mall area with lots of shopping, restaurants, boat rides. We felt this hotel was a great value and had the best location in the area and would highly recommend it. DK 6. Dezember 2012

    Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Best Experience Yet!!! I have rarely had the quality of customer service I experienced during my stay at this amazing hotel. The staff were extraordinarily friendly and knowledgeable! I am a younger traveler and nothing annoys me more than to be treated differently because I appear to be younger. The staff maintained the same level of customer service and courtesy for every person which is something I pay very close attention to. I travel for work frequently and I have never been more impressed or had another experience to top it! By the way the Turkey Burger is to die for! Will definitely return. 4. Dezember 2012

I was amazed at what fantastic value this hotel offered and the comfort and kind hospitality and helpfulness of the staff there. I will definitely recommend to all friends who are visiting Miami to stay at this hotel. I am looking forward to visiting the hotel again in the not too distant future. 1. Dezember 2012

    Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Great location downtown Booked two rooms to accomodate the family. One room received an upgrade to a suite because of my platinum status. The rooms were nice with a comfortable bed. Our room had a great view over the water. One tip, book a club room as it will save you money in the end. Club level was really nice although the Intercontintal Club should be somewhat larger. Sometimes the place was cramped. Tasty breakfast and superb happy hour! The lobby was really nice, though some people will think it is loud and noisy due to the (loud) music playing there. (valet) parking was, like all downtown hotels, outrageous... 36$/day is just not a correct price. But since this seems to be the price in Miami, you have two options: take it or leave it... 30.     Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Excellent Customer Service and Location The people at ICM were the best!! My family was spending some days before our cruise. We wanted a hotel near the port and close to local shopping and restuarants. The ICM accomplished both. We were within walking distance of a local outdoor market that had plenty to view, eat, and buy. Visiting at night really made the market shine. In addition, our room was ready even after a late arrival which the wife really enjoyed. My request for our suite to be on the highest floor was acknowledged on both visits (we stayed at ICM before and after our cruise). The views were wonderful!! On our next visit to Miami, our place to stay is ICM for sure!! 28. November 2012

    Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Fantastic Place!!! This is one of our favorites. The entire family always chooses to stay here for the well, friendly staff. We have been there several times. They are times when it has been 5 or 6 months and some of the employees do recognize us and would come to you and shake your hand with a smile and thank you for coming back. The reception staff is the friendliest every seeing always accommodating and willing to assist. Concierge the best ever seeing. Rosello always goes out of his way to accommodate all guests. The dinning staff is super nice and helpful. The room is always spotless and the housekeeping staff they are as friendly as the rest of the employees. So thank you for a great stay and we will certainly go back. 22. November 2012

    Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Intercontinental is a winner!!!! We stayed at the intercontinental for 2 nights following the KISS Kruise on nov 4-5th. Upon entering the amazing foyer area we were met with an easy and friendly check in. We proceeded to our room and WOW!!! It was awesome. Clean, spacious, and a bed and pillow to die for. Will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone I know is coming to miami, and we will certainly want to stay here if we are ever in miami again. Brilliant. 13. November 2012

    Rated 2,0 out of 5,0 by Mediocre at best We stayed at the Intercontinental for the Ironman 70.3 triathlon going on in the park adjacent to the hotel. I was told as soon as we arrived that my car would fit into the garage, therefore they would have to park it outside and move it around as needed. Not a big deal. Went upstairs to our room which was nice. Went to sleep early because of the big day ahead. The sheets in the bed felt almost like hospital linens however. My wife went down to the front desk at this time to ask for a late checkout, which she was denied. We woke up a 3 AM for the race to eat breakfast and get ready for the big day ahead. We raced for just over 5 hours. After a long day we were ready to get home. My car had been moved from the previous spot it was in the morning. I got my keys from the valet and got the car ready for the few hour trip. When I went to turn the car on, it was completely dead. I mean DEAD. When I went to the valet to ask why this was, he asked me if i had moved it during the day and maybe left something on. I told him that I had been racing all day and had not touched the car. It was almost if he tried to blame me for the car being dead. The valet stated that he would jump the car so we could get home. I was told that the the battery should be ok, and should be charged by the time we got home. Needless to say it wasn't ok. The next day I woke up to a dead car...again. Guess the valet really didn't know what he was talking about. So on top of the price of the room, the valet charge, and the tipping of the valet, we had to buy another car battery. This experience was not a good one. 2. November 2012
