Nelson Mandela Square, formerly Sandton Square, was renamed in 2004 after the previous South African president and freedom fighter. It is located across the skywalk from the hotel as well as Sandton City and the Sandton Convention Centre. A must to capture yourself with the bronze statue of Mandela in the Square.
