    Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Comfortable bed and great views We were giving a newly renovated room on the top floor. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The view was amazing - especially at night time. The CN Tower was beautiful. The staff was all friendly and knowledgeable - when the doorman wasn't sure of an answer he ran inside to find out for us. We went to Azure for breakfast in the morning and the wait staff was so attentive and friendly. And the food was delicious. I would recommend this hotel for sure. 23. Dezember 2014

    Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by It's just ok We stayed for 4 nights and the overall experience was just ok. What made it not great was the inauthenticity of staff's friendliness. They came across as being friendly because they had to, instead of being who they were. One male receptionist was even talking like a robot, and he was the one welcoming us. So the first impression was already disappointing. Overall, we didn't feel any emotional connection with the people (except for the cleaning lady and some waitresses) although we're staying there for 4 nights. What we didn't like more were two male workers at the restaurant Azure; one is a black man who prepared the egg and one is a white/latino waiter. The former made a mistake with the eggs that we ordered, but instead of apologising, he blamed us for not being clear. It was already very clear that I said in the beginning I didn't want any cheese on my egg, while my partner did. But this guy mixed it up himself in his mind and made a mistake. Very rude of him. I'm not being racist, because the other black woman who prepared our eggs was very good. About the latter, he was just unfriendly and cold, not only to us, but also to other clients. I wish I knew their names so that you could directly address this issue. What's also weird was the guy delivering our in-room service. We ordered chicken curry and when he came he was bragging that this chicken curry is the best on earth. Come on, have you ever been to India? By bragging like this, we only heighten our expectation, and in the end, the taste was just ok. We got the feeling that he wanted to appear friendly because he had to (maybe because he wanted to have the tips, but fortunately we didn't fall into his trap), instead of showing his real emotion. Finally, what we didn't understand was that we couldn't book a room with one bed only. We were staying only with the two of us and it's such a waste of money by getting two king beds. Your hotel is clearly not sustainable. 22. Dezember 2014
