Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst service ever experienced at an Intercontinental Systemic problems in Hotel. Package which I was expecting at the hotel was lost in system despite the tracking from UPS recorded receipt by Hotel, including the name of recipient. Housekeeping service was excellent in locating my phone charger. I was told to retrieve it from reception, over the phone. Had to make 2 trips to he Hotel as the item could not be located. Took several number of staff to eventually locate the item, making me late for my appointment. (I was assured that the item was to be collected from reception, under my name. As part of my stay, I understand I get a newspaper daily. On day 1 I requested a paper. It was delivered after 2 phone calls and a 45 minute wait. On Day 2 there was no paper at all. Staff were polite at all times and apologetic. However, the process of retrieving my items was excruciating. I stayed at the Playford for the next 5 days. The difference in service in every department should be the benchmark for the intercontinental Adelaide. 20 November 2014

Under my company corporate panel of hotel. exceed my expectations, as i have stay in other hotels of the same chain in Asia before. they are not as good. 18 November 2014
