Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by An enjoyable night's stay All was good except why are hotel pillows always so soft? I didn't sleep well because of the pillows even after getting a spare pillow from closet. Window in the room wasn't clean when looking out of it. Water pipes while having a shower emitted a high pitch squeal regardless of how water taps were adjusted. Buffet breakfast was chaotic. Had to wait over 30min for our coffees to arrive and when they did they were cold. A lot of the food trays were empty. Staff seemed challenged to keep them topped up with food. I'll stay there again but would love to see some improvements. July 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bed and Bedding Heaven Great Check in service and welcoming. One night we decided to dine at Atrium Lounge and was actually so surprised as no others were in there. Food and service were Excellent would definitely go back. Staff in Club Lounge were excellent as was selection. Atrium Bar was the only let down. The bed /Bedding etc was just awesome and had a great sleep. Hotel just needs a bit of an update and facelift. July 30, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Compliments & Feedback Compliments 1) Nasuha - was very courteous and professional in extending service to correct my IHG info. IHG being an International organization as taken for granted that the last name is my surname. I've tried twice calling the helpdesk but gave up earlier on. Nasuha noticed it and was kind enough to change it for me. Feedbacks 1) The bar of soap provided do not lather well with the relatively "hard water" leaving a slippery feeling. 2) Shiki - Was surprised that they do not provide "fresh wasabi" for the very fresh sashimi ordered. Instead "powdered wasabi" is being used and it definitely spoiled the sashimi experince. 3) Shiki - As it is mainly teppanyaki, the ventilation greatly need to be improved. The stench of food is strong when you walk in and when you leave, your hair and clothing seems to have also "tasted or smelled" the food too. July 29, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel - great location Our 2 night stay at the Intercontinental Hotel was perfect for us as we were in Adelaide for the Liverpool FC v Adelaide United football match. It fulfilled all of our needs at this particular time as we were within walking distance of the ground and all food requirements were met at the Hotel to a high standard. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room suitably appointed. All staff were very helpful from arrival to departure. Would definitely stay again. July 26, 2015
