Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoyable stay. We enjoyed a relaxing and enjoyable stay with our children to view the Christmas Pageant. Introduced the children to Shiki and they enjoyed the entertainment of the chef and loved the Japanese food. The beds are extremely comfortable and the staff assisted us with every request with a happy and friendly attitude. 12 November 2014

Some staff were exceptionally professional and provided assistance when required' Most restaurant and lobby bar staff were attentive and knowledgeable Check in and check out efficient.. One or two staff very ignoring.. My room on 20th floor was wonderful. Bathroom floors could have been cleaner. ihg Rewards points were NOT credited. I would return for another stay. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and quiet rooms great location Rooms and linen are clean , and quiet. This is really important to me.. The beds and pillows need a refurbishment I always wake up with a stiff neck and shoulders and sometimes headaches as we'll when staying. The decor could do with an update and bit of a change it would be nice to have the rooms a little different from each other, for regular stays it would be nice to mix it up more than just the city view or river view as you don't spend much time looking out of the window 03 November 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed but small room This hotel is well located for attending conferences. The breakfast was good but unimaginative. For a stay of a week, the room was small. The location of the wardrobe next to the bathroom meant that the door of the bathroom had to be closed to open the door of the wardrobe and vise versa, which became annoying. The promise of a river view was not fulfilled which was disappointing when staying for a week. 27 October 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient location Overall we had a comfortable stay for the Beefsteak and Burgundy convention but we were not impressed by the meal we were served at the gala dinner. The meat was overcooked and tough and there were long breaks in the wine service. Apart from that, we really enjoyed visiting Adelaide. and the Barossa. 24 October 2014

Everything was extremely clean throughout the hotel, all the staff we met were very attentive and friendly and the location was amazing. Great access to both sides of the Torrens river and all the Best cultural/historical landmarks and shopping in Adelaide. Not to mention being right next to the Casino, which pleased my husband. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well done! I first stayed here not long after it was branded as Intercontinental, and yes, it then had shades of the 'old Adelaide' around it. Now, a few years later, the brand has been nailed and it is unmistakably a quality Intercontinental property. The team not only have that 'Intercon' polish, they have youth and freshness on their side, along with the delightfully relaxed demeanour of Adelaidians. My Club Room was just sooooo Intercontinental it was not funny. The TV remote was straightforward, the complimentary water was there, the soaps and toiletries were spot on, the linen so fresh and clean, the room care immaculate. The Club Room is, as always, a haven. I had the pleasure of being there at the same time as the Rolling Stones, and the mutual respect and gentleness among the 'rich and famous' is one of the reasons why there is no better way to travel than with Club Intercontinental. I enjoyed it so much I am manufacturing a reason to go back, just for a quiet night, before Christmas this year. Phillip 22 October 2014

The buffet breakfast included a wide variety of hot and cold options as well as pastries and the option to make your own juice. 20 October 2014

Rooms are clean and cleaning staff are very accommodating. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are quiet and dark. Restaurant meals were excellent.
