Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sami@2014 Staying at home
I have visited AlJubail regularly, first place I search is intercontinental, moreover since I become ambesdor member I'm much confident of reserving a room even in short time.
The greatest thing I really like in intercontinental hotels around the world is the high standard of whole preporty every where is same high level standards services.
Intercontinental Is my lovely place every where.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by zufhaz A success story of Front Office and Hotel Management
Sorry for being long, needed it to be of benefit for review readers.
The main reason behind my revisits to this place is that it is keen to satisfy its clients at all cost. Front office management is exceptional, they always give something more that exceeds your expectations. Not like other named hotels that force you to pay more to get, these people give you more first. And guess what the hotel gets rewarded at the end; in about 10 months, my family and I visited Intercontinental Al Jubail 3 times for leisure purposes.
A good sign is that the hotel management are not settling for current achievement, each time I revisit I find out some new enhancements introduced. For example this time is the floating trampoline and more renovated rooms.
The kids love the place, one can take the family for this trip knowing that they will sure enjoy the stay and amusement in sha2a ALLAH.
Things that must be covered immediately are:
1- The floating trampoline ladder must be mounted for easy access, otherwise it is too difficult for kids to get upon, and it also risks potential bites for their fingers between the ladder and the trampoline’s body.
2- The air-pumped kids slide (pumped during weekends) must be cleaned from dust regularly, it injures by speedy contact of sliding.
3- I know that the renovated rooms have a handheld backside washer, yet I think the hotel shouldn’t wait renovation turn and must install this tool in all rooms now.
From what I witnessed from this hotel, I’m sure that I will find these things fixed the next time I visit Intercontinental Al Jubail.
This hotel management and staff – specially front office - are a real success story that others should follow.

Ich konnte keine Vpn verbindung für geschäftliche zwecke aufbauen . Da ich diese täglich brauche um zu Arbeiten finde ich es sehr schade, dass es nicht möglich ist eine sichere Verbindung ins Ausland zu bekommen

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jarlooth Meeting and exceeding expectations
It does everything that it says on the tin and more. Its staff are excellent, as are its food and accommodation rooms. Its conference rooms are excellent and are competently staffed by dedicated people. A great experience.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Coyote76 excellent service, mais hôtel en rénovation
Très bon hôtel compte tenu de l'environnement.
Le service et les employés sont impeccables.
L'hôtel était en rénovation (ce qui est nécessaire); dans d'autres conditions, l'évaluation aurait peut-être été meilleure.

Firstly I would like to comment on certain individuals who are a dime in a dozen and deserve position above what they have for the kind of treatment hey showed my family.
Waleed & Mark: As soon as I entered the hotel they were nothing but polite, welcoming and even remembered who I was. Always have a smile on their face and greeted me whenever I walked past him. He would be more than capable of a high positions as I have worked in the restaurant hotel business before and know he would do an outstanding job. Waleed showed me different rooms to make sure my family was comfortable and Mark checked on us in the club lounge to make sure we had everything we needed. this is an informal recommendation for both of them.
Arthur: what a lovely man who was so friendly with my children and was always there to help us if we needed anything. Greeting us as we entered and as we left, so professional in his mannerism.
The hotel itself was very clean, very welcoming and warming. The breakfast was beyond delicious with a variety of freshly made juices to fresh fruit and crispy warm oven baked croissants. I was really impressed with the spread, better than any hotel I have ever been in catering to people of different tastes and cultures.
The room was very clean and tidy. the saying "you get what you paid for", well its true and was great quality. the club lounge had everything you need to keep the family going for the duration of the stay.
My wife was very pleased with the women private facilities and commented on how polite the staff were.
the mens pool was great for my children and myself, really enjoyed it.
Despite all these great comments it is unfortunate that I will not be returning to the hotel because of the beach. I would like to consider myself and family to being practicing Muslims and to allow women to dress in bikinis on the beach sadness and playing music out loud on the speakers (hotels speakers). I understand you have guests who wish to enjoy such activities but what about us (religious) families who do not agree with it. The beach itself is very clean and nice for kids to run around and have fun, downfall slight walk from hotel 5-10 minutes tough with children......:). I don't wish for my children to listen to music based on my religious beliefs. I asked a staff member if they single men could go to one side so the families can enjoy one side as my wife felt uncomfortable at single men staring and they said no.
It is sad that this is the reason for myself and family not returning even though we have come twice in 2 months but I must do what is right for my family and not expose them to things which I believe is not right.
I always witnessed women not dressing in the saudi attire covering themselves within the hotel itself.
I hope that you can take my comments on board.
