The breakfast staff were nothing but fabulous and courteous - and ever attentive! The gym/spa staff (especially Dina, Nazeem, & Luba) were fantastic! One of the best gym/spa facilities I've used on a trip. 05 May 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Renovation is needed and then it's Worth 7 starts " The overall stay is Wonderful. Staff are very friendly while check in that quite changing during Checkout". Hotel is accommodating quite Old furniture. Amenities within the room isn't up to the level compared what should be expected from Intercontinental. Food is Awesome !!! The Whole stay is very nice and I would encourage all to give it a try." 03 May 2014

Rooms clean and comfortable with luxurious bathrooms and thoughtful details. A standout inclusive breakfast in the Atrium--a bounty of multicultural options from grilled halloumi, flat bread and za'atar to espresso and fresh viennoiserie. Dining options include Indian, Lebanese and Mexican restaurants. Friendly staff; spa, indoor and outdoor pools; central location--an almost perfect package. One issue to note, however: for a hotel brand that prides itself on its green credentials, the proliferation of pointless printed cards around the rooms ("For Your Valuables" by the safe, for example) and huge bath towels sends out the wrong message. 30 April 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff I stayed in Amman and explored northern and central Jordan - Jerash, Ajloun, Madaba, Karak & Umm ar-Rasas - from there. Mahmoud at the concierge's desk was a great resource. He was helpful with suggested day trips and patient when responding to my many questions. Ziyad, a bartender at "Cinco de Mayo," was friendly, fun and made tasty drinks. I enjoyed my stay at IC Amman and it served as a great home base for me. 27 April 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by A GREAT place to stay in Amman We had a wonderful experience at the Intercontinental Hotel, Amman. It is a beautiful property with all the amenities you could imagine. The creativity in the flower arrangements in the lobby and restaurants were fabulous!! Being from Texas, we ate at the Mexican-style restaurant in the hotel and were amazed at how great a job the chef did with preparing our meal! The chips and salsa were delicious at the start as well as our main course and satisfied our 'craving' for Mexican food. The room was large, the bed extremely comfortable, and they even had pillow service if you wanted different pillows during your stay. We are so used to having ALL restaurants as non-smoking, that it has us 'spoiled' and wish that every place followed that policy! We will definitely recommend the Intercontinental in Amman to anyone heading there. From the moment we got there till the time we left we felt 'indulged' by a VERY competent staff. 31 March 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by General Service Warm service from the Front Desk continues to appeal. One item however, stands out for action as the hotel sees fit. I had a glass of white Jordan wine with my dinner at Cinco de' Mayo. The wine was without quality, and the price was 10-JD. THAT, is not good value #and there are better JO white wines.#. The staff here is knowledgeable, professional, polite and genuinely invested in ensuring that each guest has a comfortable stay. I have stayed here for both business and leisure travel. The rooms, hallways and public areas are clean and well appointed. In spite of the large size, this hotel feels like home. 24 March 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very friendly staff As usual, very friendly staff, I was with my two extremly hyper kids and I was afraid we will not be welcomed there but we really found the opposite, from the breakfast staff starting from the omlette guy riad to the waitress who used to help us a lot calm the kids down in a very friendly way, room service employee ahmad who was very patient, to the lobby captin mr raof, above all mr anas who always check on us from the moment we arrived until we left, mrs wisam and the other girl in the business lounge, I really envy this hotel for the staff they have. I stay in this hotel since maybe 10 yeara when I am in amman and until now I never had a thought of going to another hotel God bless you all and congrats for being like this :) 02 March 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 1 thing ruined my great stay! I'm a very proud loyal IHG customer, being a frquent flyer across the world I always stay at IHG hotel group. My stay at intercontinental jordan started off good, thus during evening I starting to get sick (I'm sure it's because of the cold winter weather) so I went to reception and asked if they have any medicine or can get me some, they said "sorry sir, you have to walk out of the hotel like 5 minutes and you'll find a pharmacy?" I said to them again that I'm starting to get feverish and that I need ther help, but they instead that I go and it's only 5 minutes walking. Being really tired and sick I went walked in a windy freezing cold evening weather and came back which took me 15 minutes, and during night my situation got a Billion times worse! So the room service guy told me why didn't I ask the hotel to go get me medicine, I told him the story and he was really upset of the way the hotel staff treated me! The next day I got a doctor and stayed on medicine for 4 days until I STARTED to recover!!! I'm really disappointed with the staff not offering me to send a bellboy or anyone to get medicine for me or even to suggest from day 1 if I needed a doctor! I hope this incident doesn't occurred again 22 February 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay I will have to thank the entire staff from check in to check out for the hospitality. The only disapointment was the closed outdoor patio. A few area heaters and light blankets would have been sufficient to make it a comfortable outdoor night cap. All in all it was a great visit and looking forward to my next visit. 20 February 2014
