My stay at the Amman, Jordan, Intercontinental Hotel was outstanding. The best feature is the outstanding, and always customer oriented, staff--they are world class and easily the finest collection of hotel staff members I've come across in 20 years of travelling world-wide.

Yet again the Interconental Jordan, Amman proves itself to be of the highest standard. I stayed for a mixed business and pleasure trip. As a business hotel it excels and the excellent meeting room in the lounge is extremely well appointed and easy to book.
The most memorable thing about the hotel is not a thing but a person. The magnificent Concierge, Mr Raafat. He is simply quite brilliant, a romantic and charming man. He saved me from embassasment by getting me an anniversary card and booking us into Romero just across the road.. He really is the most accomplished concierge but also a very special person, the hotel should be very proud to have such a star.
The team in the lounge are really brilliant and make you feel very welcome and pampered.
A great hotel for business or for a really relaxing break

I stayed for the very first at Intercontinental Amman. The service was perfect, the food was excellent, and the staff were attentive, considerate, helpful, and very nice. I would like to thank especially Anton, Kameel, and Mahmoud for their incredible service.
Also, I would like to mention that I felt very safe thanks to the metal detector at the hotel entrance.
Only six days after returning to New York, I booked my next vacation. I will be spending my next vacation - Inch Allah - again in Amman at the end of August and will be staying at the Intercontinental hotel for the second time!

The hotel management need immediately to address several issues
- The concierge service is not up to expectation. When I asked them to recommend places to eat, their knowledge about the quality of food and restaurant ambiance was very poor. It was very obvious that their criteria was based on proximity not quality.
- valet service was annoying. especially when there is an ongoing event at the hotel like wedding party. I had to wait more that 15 min to get my car. also i have to search for someone to take my car when i come to the hotel. this happen every time during the three days i stayed at the hotel.
- SPA service was for sure not a five star. The masseuses are not experienced. For someone who knows a lot about massage, I can say that the staff was lacking the real knowledge about massage. Therefore, I would not call it massage, it is just rubbing with some bad strokes.
