From the check-in with Omar, to Zane at the Concierge desk, to the bar staff under the leadership of Munir at Cinco de Mayo, everyone greets you with a genuine smile and a warm greeting. I can't say enough about the staff around the pool and at the gym. Basem is the consummate leader for the pool staff and makes sure every guest gets their place in the sun to enjoy the water. Dima is quite the trainer in the gym and provides excellent advice to casual patrons and hard core gym rats alike. I just can't say enough about the entire staff because every day is a pleasure to spend here. 25 September 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Intercontinental Amman, Jordan Been staying there for 5 years and always like returning home. Warm, friendly staff, excellent food and good recreational facilities. Love the terrace, the wide variety of restaurants and the nightly music. Always a smile round every corner and staff courteous and very friendly. Ideal location in walking distance of the downtown area and surrounded by fine restaurants. Relax by the pool, workout in the gym or enjoy the massages and spa. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazing room and friendly people The hotel is family friendly and cost value is reasonable. The service is good and people there are helpful and wonderful. Security is tight so you feel safe. The rooms are comfortable and have nice decorations. The hotel location is excellent. I have already stayed there more than 3 times in 2 months. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by As a woman traveling alone Well situated and with a proud sense of history (interesting lobby displays of historic events at & visitors to the hotel, decorative objects, china of past eras). Very responsive and professional staff/service overall with initial gruffness and occasional lapses at front desk and concierge. Excellent dining options include Lebanese fare of the highest order. Air handling system for guest rooms needs improvement (cigarette smoke is filtered in) and is likely scheduled; and don't take "city view" rate and description literally or you'll be disappointed (e.g. view of pool). Otherwise comfortable and spacious. As a woman traveling alone I felt safe and unharried, both big plusses. 07 September 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 2 night stay I was disappointed that i was not allowed early check in, even though i had requested it when making my booking. They offered me 50% off, then 75% off. Finally at the end they gave me eary check-in for free because my friend had booked his wedding there the next day, otherwise i would've paid for something that should have been free! The hotel was nice, the service was good. The prices of taxis and other services they offered was over priced. 03 September 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Bar service & cost Service in the bar was poor at times taking 20mins for an order to be brought out, and when you have spent almost 1000Jdn in 3 nights it’s not great. my work colleagues and i stay regularly stay in the hotel and know all the staff well and are very friendly. the high costs of drinking and eating are forcing us to use facilities outside the hotel more often that offer better value for money. we have suggested happy hours and we do receive a company discount when we ask for it, this should be automatically. i will enjoy my next stay although only for 1 night this time 31 August 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service The mark of a good hotel is not necessarily "has there been a problem?", but how is it dealt with. I had a problem with my room hot water. An initial attempt was made to effect repair. As soon as this was not going to be repaired immediately they gave me another room. This hotel has consistently offered excellent service. The restaurants and their staff are superb. The bar staff give excellent service and remember individual customer's preferences. Well done. I wish all hotels were this good 27 August 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brilliant Stayed on business over three weekends. First room was huge, palatial no less, however overlooked the pool which was a bit noist due to Ede celebrations and weddings but no problems. Second and third weekends in a smaller but ideal room, king size then twin, but as I was on my own and on business, no problem. I think this was in the older wing, but the standard of room was no different and very much quieter. My thanks to the corridor staff, Especially Bassam on the 2nd floor, he was excellant, Slight mix up on the third stay, called the laundry for emergency 'i have run out of clothes and need rapid turnround' as I arrived at 1300, after three calls it was collected at 1630, but it came back within 2 hours and I was waived the express fee. The facilites that I used were top notch, breakfast was such a huge selection and catered for all. The cafe was good, with a nice selection of snacks. I can recommend the the Chicken sandwich and the half pound beefburger. For eating in the evening the Mexican was great, well prepared and very tasty, spicy as you want it or not. The Asian food was a bit on the limited side but very good none the less. The Bourj al Hamman Lebanese restuarent was ..... words fail me. I have never eaten Lebanese food before and boy, have I missed out. The food was honestly incredible and the staff under Mr Kanani were fantastic. A brilliant selection and lots of help from the staff explaining what the menu consisted of and how it was cooked was fantastic to a Lebanese newbie. Of all of the many dishes I tried, only one was not to my taste. Internet is a bit patchy in some of the public areas, but good in the rooms. Mine was complimentary with the Reward scheme, but if not it would have been on the expensive side. Brillant three stays, especially after the basic facilites while I was at work during the week. 27 August 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jordan InterCon I think the hotel is a good hotel. The location is excellent and the rooms are priced above average, but still OK. The staff and service are excellent. The only issue I faced when I stayed there was the renovation work that was being done. They started working outside my window, with a drill, at 8AM.. Now I understand that the hotel needs to upgrade and improve, but there is no reason to rent out rooms that are directly in the path of the renovation work. All in all, a very good hotel and I would go there again. 19 August 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Overall Service The shower was leaking to the floor from between the glass and the wall. Washbasin was leaking to the floor from the pipe. Considerable noise from floor above and neighboring room. A charge of 18JD appeared in my final bill for minibar usage which I did not use. A charge of 1JD appeared in y final bill as ‘donation’ without taking my consent or even pointing out the issue to me by the receptionist. Bad management of at the breakfast area, the same manager who seated me at a table seated a couple at the same table while I was at the open buffet. 19 August 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Juno2 My family and I had a great time at the Inter Amman The staff were great. we were recognized as platinum priority club members. my kids loved the pool. we enjoyed the dinner at Burj Al-Hamam and the breakfast buffet.
