I enjoyed my stay in Agba Intercon was one of the main reason for my enjoyment.
The hotel location is second to non, the staff attitude and care are obveious from the check-in time until the check out.
They like to find way to please the guest.

Once you have got in to Intercontenental Aqaba, you,ll be covered with kindness and nice greetings from the staff. A respectfull treatment and the great feeling of hospitality you recieved from its staff makes you feel warm, comfortable, and relaxed.

I travel a lot, and rarely do I experience this high level of friendliness. The staff here are very welcoming and this made my stay warm and enjoyable. The rooms, the food, the spa...everything was more than I expected.

We stayed on the Club Floor which gives access to an excellent breakfast room, lunch time snacks and evening drinks. Great service and food in the club lounge.
The pool and beach facilities very good.

The food needs to have more variations especailly at lunch and dinner buffet. We pay 25 J.D. for poor varity of food and sometimes only two kinds are available. The quality of meat is always bad and hard to eat and swollow. I visited this hotel more than 4 times during the last 12 months and each time i give the same comment. All the guets with me share the same remarks.

Our recent stay at the Intercontinental Hotel in Aqaba was a memorable one. From the moment we arrived at the front gate of the hotel we felt that we are special and that all the good is just waiting for us inside. The fresh smell in the lobby was very tempting and the flowers were so nicely arranged. we were escorted by a very nice young lady to the club lounge where we were recieved as VIP's. The check in was so smooth and everything was very well arranged for us. As an Ambassador member, we were automatically up-graded to a very nice suit. Again we were escorted to our suit and the employees were very knowledgable and so friendly that we felt we were the only guests in this huge and very busy hotel! The cleanliness of the suit was good enough, and the balcony furniture was very clean. The lighting of the suit was nice and the decoration acceptable. Entertainment was up to expectations and the bed was very comfortable. Ample space was available in the closets for our cloths and the bathroom was so clean and very well decorated. Room service was very efficient and everybody seemed to be at our service. The food in the Club Lounge was so nice and the waiters were very friendly and immediatly responsive to our requests. Service at the beach was very good, although the waiters and staff were very busy as the hotel was full. Concierge attendants were very helpful. Checking out at the end of our stay was so easy and the billing was very accurate.

On a whole the staff at the Intercontinental in Aqaba were friendly and helpful. I would however have to add that the attitude of front desk staff was shocking, to say the least, for a hotel of this caliber. After a long trip, checking into a hotel should be a pleasant experience or as best as possible. It is just for this reason that I chose not to recommend the Intercontinental

Our staying in Intercontinental was really a great experience as always.
Elegant, comfortable. The staff was so kind and efficient to anticipate our needs and wishes.
Breakfast was very rich, various and appetizing, typical continental with beef bacon, scrambled eggs and the make your own waffles Pan cake plus typical pastry, fruit and cereals.
Pool area so comfy with sunbeds, and high quality services when ever we need anything, furthermore it was great new activity regarding animation team, they gave us pleasures the whole day and night even .
As I always say, only Intercontinental, and always recommend it to my friends.
We really had a marvelous stay as always and even better, in spite it was fully occupied but never felt any disturb or crowd.
Will definitely stay here again and for ever when visiting the area, and would recommend to others.
Thank You InterContinental & of course special thanks to your marvelous staff, to make our stay excellent experience every time we visit Aqaba.

This was my first time in Aqaba-Jordan and for sure it will not be my last. I loved it to say the least. The hotel design was great but the staff were even greater than anything else. I booked 3 rooms. Two were booked as Rewards Nights and I was upgraded as a normal room. The hospitality of these people really impressive. Nothing is impossible. I had a problem with my shower and to make a quick short fix, they changed the whole shower in few minutes!!!
I received phone calls from management offering their service.
Great breakfast/ great executive lounge/ great red sea view balcony/ great pool/ and wonderful clean beach made the experience more memorable.

Had the need to us this hotel for a long period of time, leading to months. Moved to this hotel from another hotel in town due to the better facilities it offered, although of course the price was higher.
Having travelled extensively, most of the time you get lost in a similar kind of experience in a particular chain of hotels, except for the local flavor. What differentiated IHG Aqaba was the extra thought and personal attention given to details by their staff. The staff was thoughtful enough to recognize the preferences of their guests and ensured that this was met with time and again. Also each of the F&B outlet managers made it a point to meet and greet you if you were in their premises and added the additional touch to personal care. The warmth and easy smiles of the staff is the biggest advertisement for this hotel.
The security staff though appeared to be intellectually indifferent. At times they would breeze you through and on another sunny day in Aqaba they were just about ready to strip you all the way.
Most requirements and enquiries were attended to in good enough time, although the guest relations desk was often understaffed during peak hours.
In summary a pleasant experience.

Reasonable Bathroom service, but not very good. not enough shampoo & towels for a couple.
Great landscapes, swimming pools area, and excellent restaurants & Bar.
Excellent service at the Information desk.
Overall, we felt friendly decent services during our stay.

Most of the things were excellent - the service, the rooms, the beach, pool and spa. The problem was that everything in the hotel is very expensive, and they don't let you bring any food or beverage from outside the hotel. Ther's a feeling you have to pay more all the time, for every little thing. And also, the room we got didn't look like the picture in the website, which was a bit disappointing.

Of the 4 hotels we stayed at on the Saga tour of Jordan this hotel was by far the best. Staff and service were comendable. Hotel spotlessly clean.
My only bad comment was that music around thee pool was too noisy but then again you could move to the beach.

It is always enjoyable to stay at the Intercontinental from the moment that you walk into the large air conditioned lobby. My only criticism of this stay was that the balcony was covered by bird droppings rendering it unusable. I didn't mention it to the staff as I was only there for two nights and I was usually busy getting to my dive trip and returning late in the day, but this is something that in my view should have been noticed by housekeeping and dealt with appropriately - especially given that it was like it before I arrived and wasn't noticed or cleaned during my stay of two nights.
On an extremely positive note, my car had a puncture whilst I was at the hotel. I couldn't undo the wheel bolts as they had seized up. I approached a member of the outdoor staff for WD40 or similar (which doesn't translate very well!) and he came and helped, in the end changing the wheel for me. That sort of service is what, for me, the Intercontinental brand is about - going above and beyond what is expected.
