kind of an odd weekend at the Intercontinental. Checked into room to find a birthday cake and champagne for Gerry!! The moved us to another room. That worked out fine. We left next morning early for meeting. Came back late afternoon and room not cleaned. Housekeeping came. We asked if we could take a short rest and would then leave the room for them to clean. We shortly thereafter called housekeeping and told then we would be out of room an hour so they could clean. We came back and no clean room. Called manager who was VERY nice. Sent housekeeping right up and made amends. Rest of experience was nice. Management was great!!
Another minor problem. I was member of IHG Rewards club and they charged me for internet, but adjusted the bill when I brought it to their attention at checkout.

From the Moment we arrived we were Welcomed as
Platinum Elite Members and our Room was Upgraded
Complimentary! We were there for the Braves Game and had a VIP tour and were to attend batting practice with the team.
The VIP tour was cancelled at the last minute due to the Braves Plane getting in late. They upgraded our seats at the game and we Won 5 to 2 over the Marlins.
Once we got back to the room I took a long hot bath in the over size tub and that night slept better than I had slept anywhere I have ever stayed. It was quiet and the beds are extremely comfortable...what more can you ask for. The next morning my wife and son went to the fitness center and took full advantage of the eliptical machine and treadmill.
I highly recommend this Hotel and will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Atlanta.

Spent Labor Day weekend at the hotel. Excellent location with a wide variety of great restaurants and bars within walking distance. Marta station is a block away which is extremely convenient for traveling around rest of Atlanta. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Buckhead area

I travel alot to At. for work and have settled on the Intercontinental Buckhead as my Atl. home. The rooms are great, love the jazz in the lobby and the staff is fabulous. One front desk staff member stands out among the best. That would be Vira Hora she is always up and very attentive. Even though I am an Admiral Club member I will wait in line to interact with Vira. She wants every guest to be happy and satisfied and works diligently to make that happen. I want to Thank everyone for great service but if I can do anything to help Vira receive the recognition that she deserves please let me know.

It was a great experience with the Hotel. From the moment at check in till check out. The service was excellent and the food was great. I was a part of the Shoney's Convention. I had a wonderful view from my room in 1111. If I may suggest anything, it is that the room rug should be vacuumed when bits of paper are on the floor.

Very Nice Hotel. Service is among the best we have stayed. Candis at the Front Desk was exceptional. Parking Charges for guests was an unexpected difference but great view from upper floors.

Staying here used to be an excellent experience. I have stayed at this hotel once a year for the last 6 years and do not understand what has changed. This year it was impossible to get service without begging. The gift shop was always closed when I need a drink, therefore I would go to the bar for a soda & would stand there 5 minutes before giving up on ever getting a soda. The hotel is still a excellent property, but the staff is not.

A+++ classy, comfortable, and close to everything. I will be a returning customer. Everything is a little expensive, but you get what you pay for...Top notch. I recommend the executive suite
