Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Your Get What You Pay For While the InterContinental may cost a bit more than other hotels in Buckhead, it's worth it. I've stayed there several times now and the staff is always friendly and helpful . . . the food is good (from room service to SouthernArt) . . . and the rooms are comfortable and beautifully appointed. The rooms are definitely smaller than those at some other hotels in the area, but they are much more appealing and the bathrooms are much more luxurious. And the staff is much more helpful. The only complaint I've ever had was with a waiter at SouthernArt (slow, inattentive service), but otherwise I would highly recommend the InterContinental for business or personal travel! 16 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend Get-A-Way I had a great time at this hotel. The staff was great. The views wonderful. Live music on the weekends environment. beautiful decor. The dinner at the restaurant was o.k. The breakfast buffet was huge but go for the hand made omelets instead of the prepared eggs. A+ on in-room coffee. 16 October 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Birthday Experiance I booked a room for one night for my Birthday I checked in on Saturday around 3:30 told Valet I would be leaving in 1 hour to get my make up done I asked them to keep car up front. Went to room came down asked for car they asked for $12 I said I am staying here it should be charged to room like I asked, He says um ok well 15 Minutes go by and they cant find my car no worries its my birthday im in a good mood. 20 minutes go by I have somewhere to be getting angry they finally find the car. Come back check car back in leave again for Dinner, cant find car again this takes another 20 min. We go out for my birthday check car in again around 3:30 am. Sunday before I leave my room call down to get car so we dont have to wait another 30 Min go downstairs and no car is waiting for me I go to Valet desk, Guy asks me if I have my car key??? No you have my Car....45 Minutes go by no car they have lost it again. The manager at the front did comp my parking as they should have but 3 times my whole stay should have been comped!! come on not the best birthday experience for paying a high price to lay my head down for 4 hours. Also leaving on Sunday while walking out the door theres a chunk of bread in the hallway.... yes the room was not cleaned to satisfaction from the prior night from prior guests. 16 October 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room Comfort I was so looking forward to having our honeymoon at your luxurious hotel, but the noise level in around the hotel in the morning was unbearable. When we called to order room service no one answered, as well as it took forever for the front desk to answer. I had to literally go down stairs to ask for a late check out. Overall fair service and not a memorable experience. 15 October 2014

My stay at the Buckhead Atlanta Intercontinental Hotel a few months later, October, 2014, was "Paradise Regained". The Buckhead Atlanta Intercontinental hotel was perfect, excellent services--staff, facility, etc.,; spotless room--bed, bathroom; exquisite taste all around; and exotic and delicious foods. Most importantly, friendly, professional and dedicated staff--from valet at welcome to Club Lounge, where Sadiequa, with her charming smile, professionalism, kindness, and warm welcome, made you feel like a king. Keep up the good work, Intercontinental performance keeps getting better and better, very soon there will be no height to scale!!! 14 October 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ICB Had a 2 nights stay at the IC Buckhead. Overall the hotel lives up to the 5 star rating. We were a family of 4 and had two double beds. The beds were too small for two persons to comfortably sleep. The staff at the entrance was very attentive and courteous and did made us feel special. We had used a complimentary night through a voucher that was honored even though it had expired 3 months ago. M. Musso ( GR ) was kind enough to accommodate us and that was very much appreciated. Would definitely stay at the hotel on our return visit. 13 October 2014
