Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Deal, Average Service I really did enjoy staying at the hotel, and thoroughly relished in the Romance Package. But once I took my wife out and returned, there was no champagne nor chocolates in the room! I had to play it off and call the Front Desk with a joke as to whether they placed them somewhere else, because my wife was not happy. Within minutes, the drinks and fruit had arrived, but the surprise for my wife was compromised at the point. Other than that, my wife and I have a really good time. 06 December 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay My husband and I stayed at the property recently when we attended the Master Distillers Dinner. Our check in was quick, since the evening manager quickly checked us in when the staff at the check in area were busy with other guests. We had a lovely corner room overlooking Peachtree Street hence the traffic noise was considerable when we checked in late afternoon, but quieted by the time we went to bed. The room had all the amenities that we needed and dinner in the restaurant was fabulous. The staff throughout the hotel were gracious and we definitely would like to stay at this property again. 06 December 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Club Lounge I was disappointed this time in the food offerings at your Club Lounge. The offerings at lunch were rather disappointing with beef jerky, potato chips, cookies, dried fruit, etc. In the past, you offered caesar salad and small sandwiches. I am often working at my room desk and don't have time to leave the hotel for lunch. Over time, it seems your Club Lounge is not what it used to be. 05 December 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Good Choice We loved this hotel, and its location was very convenient to some of our activities (Botanical Gardens, Olympic Park). We were here for children so did not take advantage of the appealing bar and evening activities (music, eating). The room service was wonderful, though, and most notable was the tone of the staff and eagerness to see us satisfied. Finally, a small touch was appreciated: the normal Saturday checkout was noon, which allows for a longer, more relaxed morning. 04 December 2013

I know it's hard to muffle sounds coming from the halls and next door, but I expected none of them with the Intercontinental, particularly since it's a relatively new facility. 04 December 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by An "out of the box" Thanksgiving With a newly married daughter living about 6 hours away, family members residing in NC and Fla, and a full blown kitchen renovation underway, we opted to escape to Buckhead for a quiet Thanksgiving. From the moment we walked into the spacious lobby we knew we were in for a great stay. The room was lovely & quiet. Just what we needed after all the sheetrock dust, aromas of paint and cardboard boxing covering the floors at home. Even when the renovation is complete, we will certainly be returning to this hotel for an escape! We would highly recommend it! 02 December 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceeded expectations From the moment i checked in all the way through departure, the experience exceeded expectations. I liked being able to drive directly into the well marked covered self parking when we arrived. This area had easy access to the lobby where the check in process was efficient and accurate. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The room was large, beautifully appointed, and clean, as was the bathroom. I liked having a coffee maker in the room, something often not found in luxury hotels these days. The bed was excellent and this, along with the quietness of the room made for restful nights. Checkout was courteous, efficient, and fast. 27 November 2013

All in all it was an excellent experiend and we certainly would return if the opportunity arose. All of the personnel we came in contact with made us feel very "at home". From the second you drive up you are greeted and taken care of as if you are royalty! The room was superb and the bed was super comfy. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 DIRTY ROOM 1st room provided had a used bottle of water on the flor, paper and a crib in the room. In other words, I think there was someone there just before we got it... BUT we arrive at 11:30PM... NO EXCUSES for a 5 star hotel. Unfortunately the 1st impression stays. And the fist impression was not a good one since they gave us a dirty room. Being "gold" and "ambassador" gave us free wifi. The room it self is nice but once you find old bottles of Pellegrino water in the flor (garbage) and price sticker as well (pictures taken) you feel that they do not pay attention on keeping things clean. USD32 per night Valet Parking actually more than the daily rate of the rental car (full size). They did give us a clean room promptly... but it was 11:30 PM and I got REALLY mad about the dirty room. You do not expect such in an Intercontinental. I will give them another change eventually, but for now I thing I will take my business elsewhere. 21 November 2013

This past stay was for my birthday and ur staff made it very memorable. I want to thank Elena for the little birthday surprise I found in my room when we arrived. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Repeat customers to Intercontinenal and IHG Brand... Upon entering IH-Buckhead, we found the lobby to be impressive, trendy, clean and inviting. Front desk staff were very professional and accommodating; Max assisted us, providing polite and personable service, finding us the perfect room. We were placed on the 18th floor in a quiet, end-of-the-hall location w/ views. Beds were dreamy, luscious linens and abundant pillows; bathroom w/soak tub, separate shower and water closet, plush towels, mirrors all around, plenty of hot H2O was flowing. Walkable to everything, convenient to MARTA, Phipps Plaza, Lenox Mall and many dining opportunities. Had breakfast room service, very pleased, a bit pricey, but tasty = steelcut oatmeal, French toast, bacon, coffee for two; evening prior we had a decadent chocolate dessert and port in lobby dining establishment which was equally pleasing. Would welcome a return visit and recommend to all. Intercontinental Hotels have always done us right as have all the other venues under the IHG Brand we’ve enjoyed in the past. 20 November 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Recommend without hesitation Every staff member I encountered was genuinely pleasant and happy to meet my needs. A league of valets stood eager to get our car around, our wait time was less than five minutes each time we needed the car. Well worth the charge for valet parking considering the horrendous traffic in the area now that the holiday season has started. Our bellhop was kind enough to fill us in on slow times and traffic patterns so we wouldn't be late to our destinations. Excellent location with a lot of foot traffic outside in the evening. Convenient to many stores including Lenox Mall and area restaurants. If you pass on the in house restaurant, Ruth Chris steakhouse is literally across the street and easily accessible by foot. We ordered room service and enjoyed an excellent 8oz burger with a fresh side salad. The order taker was very attentive to our needs and we got all we requested and more (extra plate and utensils, condiments, ice water). I felt they went out of their way to make our experience seamless. Everything was clean, tidy and in working order. The only thing missing was bubble bath. Bring your own or get your hands on some while you're there because you are going to want to soak your travel fatigue away in the sizable bathtub. We were on the eighth floor. They were very accommodating, polite and well-mannered. The rooms are well designed and the beds are quite comfortable. There were a few mishaps with my reservation that were corrected quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Buckhead area. 19 November 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by An Awesome Time! Our Mother / daughter trip was the best we have had in years. The hotel was clean, comfortable and convenient. We loved the decor and our view of the city. Breakfast was out of this world! I have told everyone about how good the "Chef Special" pulled pork & fried eggs were. There was one glitch in the knowledge of the gift cards that came with our room package but it was made right without a hassle. We were very thankful for that.
