Good food and service in the restaurant, and great concierge and bell staff. Rooms are comfortable and you can ask to make sure you get your full Priority Club / Ambassador benefits if they don't come automatically.

My husband and I were spending the night in celebration of our 45th wedding anniversary. The hotel is beautiful and all the staff were excellent. Would recommend this hotel over and over.

I was there for a wedding and spent three nights. I did not have any complaints with the motel. Like all high dollar motels there is a cost for everything you get free at medium dollar motels: internet access, using motel's business center, breakfast, parking, etc.

This was a nice place to stay for my week of business in Buckhead. The only drawback I found was that the hotel states that they want to conserve resources through a card placed in the bathroom. However when I followed the directions to aid in that conservation by hanging up my towel, instead of leaving the towel I got a fresh one every day. The hot water was good, while the cold side had very low pressure. The bourbon bar is a very nice place to relax. All in all a place I would go back to if I am ever in the area again

Overall we had a fabulous stay for our girls' shopping weekend. Our room was wonderful and great service. Really the only negative and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the parking. I completely understand given the hotel's location that there is a fee for self parking. Unfortunately the best spaces were saved for valet drivers. With our group if women we would have felt more comfortable having a closer spot in the deck. If that can't improve maybe add some lighting in the deck to make the walk from your car feel more pleasant and safe.

During my stay in August 2013 I had a situation where a billing adjustment was supposed to be made to my account. Due to customer service error the adjustment was not made which cause a series of chain reactions. When I reached out to to hotel to have the issue resolved I received a nonchalant arrogant attitude form everyone I spoke with. I went as far as to call the corporate office; the gentleman I spoke with was truly apologetic and assured me that management from the Buckhead location would contact me within 48hrs in reference to my experience. 4days later I have heard nothing which leads me to believe that customer satisfaction is not important to this location. Without customer service business is nothing; it makes the whole experience. Their for I will not be revisiting or recomending this location.

From the moment that I stepped up to the front desk, Kyle welcomed me and made me feel at ease at the end of a long work day. Germaine the bellman was equally kind and helpful with my bag. I greatly appreciated all the care I received while at the Intercontinental last week. My room was outstanding and the location of this hotel in right in the middle of all things wonderful in Buckhead.

We stayed here August 2nd for our 20th Anniversary. The staff was incredible! Everyone went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed for a memorable visit. We had the romance package which included chocolate dipped strawberries, champagne, breakfast, and a credit towards a couple's massage. The massages were heavenly. We had a wonderful time and wished we were staying for two nights. We will definitely come back next year to celebrate. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful time!

I just want to send major KUDOS from abroad. A week prior to me deploying, I made the reservation at the hotel while my mom and I were traveling back to South Carolina from Huntsville, AL. i told her that this would be her belated birthday gift since I left to deploy exactly on her birthday. I chose the Dare to Dream package.
The week prior, I was trying to coordinate everything from flowers being in her room to welcome her to dinner reservations at Southern Art. Everyone from conceirge to the hotel front desk helped me to accomplish this for her. I was able to get a beautiful arrangement delivered from James Hurley Florist, which she loved. (KUDOS to James Hurley Florist!! - Two P's - Professional and Polite :0)
My mother and a friend was her guest on the trip. They both loved the everything. The plushness of the beds to food in Southern Art. Take your pick.
I knew that by doing for my mother was a well deserved quick qetaway. My accomplishment was for her to be pampered for a day and that's what she got. Many thanks again to the Buckhead location and I'll see everyone when I stay upon coming back.

My wife and I come to this hotel everytime we stay in Atlanta.
This is one of my favorite intercontinental hotels. The location is great. The hotel itself with it's rooms and amenities is beautiful.
We have never had a bad experience here. The staff and concierge are very knowledgeable and helpful, especially the staff in the lounge (Dana, Rafael, and Nes stand out and have been most helpful and pleasant). We have always recieved great reccommendations for restaurants and things to around Atlanta.
The hotel is also super convenient if you are going to a Falcons game or Braves game since it is right next to a marta station, which will take you directly downtown to and/or near the stadiums, or straight to the airport if you need to catch a flight. I have literally left the lounge <30 mins till kickoff and sat down right at kickoff. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone if you are staying in Atlanta.

This is an excellent upscale, full pay hotel. Everything is beatiful and comfortatble and costly. The breakfast is out of this world-for a price. It was a little hard to come from a Full Service Inn at a cheaper price with meals and a fridge provided, but it does cost to live this high and mighty. We enjoyed our stay and the staff members were delightful. The subway is only a block away for easy access to Turner Field and other attractions.

The only place I stay when visiting Atlanta for business or leisure. Great staff! Minor issues with sink and towel rack being broken but assistance was there within 10 minutes to fix issues. Went to the Spa and it was amazing but I did not receive 10% discount because they did not realize I was an Ambassador Member. Due to minor glitch, I get 20% off of next Spa services. Will definitely return for next business meetings!

Front desk, concierge, business services--patient and helpful. Pool long enough for a proper swim. Small wish: that one could swim past 9:00 p.m. Delightful to sip a glass of wine in the garden. Wanted to move in.

This was a business trip. Very easy to get from airport (red line and get off at buckhead, then walk half a block). I had an incredible view from the 19th floor. Service was timely and spotless. The room is spacious and very clean. Top quality. Highly recommended. The only drawback is that the hotel has only one restaurant. However, the area has a lot to offer just one block away, so no problem. Enjoy.

Three visits within three weeks and always an excellent stay with extremely helpful and friendly staff (where else would someone pop out in a storm to buy a kettle to make a good brew in the room). Bar staff great, reception so helpful, bellman team always friendly etc. Too many staff to name personally. BTW tried the creamed corn side dish in room, in the restaurant, at the bar. Ham and cheese boards and a few cocktails at the bar always superb. Excellently managed hotel, as are all the ICH venues.

Lovely room and overall good experience.
Unfortunately, when they did turn down service they did not look in bathroom and take the dirty towels and replace with fresh ones. In every other hotel that we stayed out, that was always part of turn down.
Also the strawberries were warm and rotten. A complete waste of money.
We had a fantastic experience at the spa. The staff were so friendly and we thoroghly enjoyed our experience.

The hotel is beautiful, but there were two disappointing things about it.
1) We stayed on the club level. My issue with the Club is that you can only get a beer or glass of wine between 6-8 PM. It is absolutely ridiculous that there is a refrigerator fully stocked with beer that has a lock on it that they only open at 6:00! I'm sorry, but if I am paying to stay on the club level, I should be able to have a beer at 5:00 if I want one. I don't expect a full presentation all day long, but if I ask for something that I know you have, for goodness sake let me have it! Or a glass of wine after dinner would be nice. I also think it is silly that in the morning, there wasn't a plain bagel to be found. Only blueberry and raisin. That is crazy.
2) While I had a wonderful massage at the spa, The spa itself was disappointing. How can you call it a spa if there isn't a steam room or sauna? And the relaxation room is about 5 x 7. My friends and I were practically sitting on each other's laps when more people came in to wait.
We had a fabulous dinner in the restaurant downstairs. Service in the bar and restaurant were spotty though.

The basic services like room cleaning and maintenance was something I had to give attention to personally. The Drain was broken and was not mended during the routine cleaning, even when I had kept the broken part on the counter, instead, the cleaning staff puts it back without getting the maintenance guy.
The night when I came in I had to call Customer Care to get it fixed, the maintenance person came around 45 mins after I made the call. The soaps and other toiletries were not replenished, nor the coffee mugs cleaned.
The overall service was completely not upto the standard.

I stayed here March 2013. Booked a room for my best friend's birthday. Had a fantastic time! The manager called me the day before to confirm my reservations. . He was super nice! The whole dtaff was! First class service all the way! The royal ambassador was excellent! Can't wait to stay again for my birthday in August! 30th! I will be getting my suite again! :-D The bell hop said it was Lionel Richie favorite room. Nah, its my favorite room!

I am an experienced luxury traveler who is not easily impressed. My 5 day stay at the Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead exceeded my expectations. The pillowtop mattresses and super soft sheets make sleeping heavenly. Full length cotton robes and slippers, plush towels and turn down service were great special touches that make your stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast credit of $25 per person per day was included with our rates, I found this a great alternative because I typically do not eat buffet but like to order off the menu so I can get exactly what I want. I eat very healthy so I was able to request they cook without salt and pepper. It was not only convenient but very tasty.
One of the best features is the free car service. A chauffeur driven Cadillac Escalade transported us to the mall and restaurants. Very convenient service.
The staff was very friendly, always smiling and very helpful.
Overall, this hotel deserves 5 Stars! The next time I come to Buckhead, I would definitely stay here again!!!

I have been staying here since the hotel opened.
The property is great and well kept up. The reason we return several times a year is the staff. They always go out of their way for you. The club lounge is one of my favorites in the country. Exceptional service would be an understatement. Nes remembers everyone and is always a pleasure to see. He makes the club lounge the Absolute best. Always looking forward to another visit.

Except for the pricey parking and no internet included in your stay, the hotel is very nice. I only wish they would just add a couple of bucks onto everyone's bill to allow internet. What's a few more bucks when you're spending hundreds?
