Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Key Problems A stay at the Intercontinental hotel was recommended to me by my sister who spent her honeymoon at the intercontinental in November of last year. I was pretty confident that it was going to be a memorable experience as I had been there on a number of occasions to register for the Atlanta Track and Field Thanksgiving Marathon and 1/2 Marathon. Friendly front desk staff, and nice room. However, the door key to my room either didn't work or worked sporadically. My first trip back down to the front desk, they gave me 4 door keys to resolve the problem. I guess the theory was if one key didn't work, then try the other 3. None of those keys worked. Which resulted in another trip to the front desk. Over the course of my 2 day stay there, I visited the front desk on 4 to 5 occasions because the key didn't work. While at the front desk on one occasion I overheard another guest complain about their key not working? If Intercontinental is going to compete in the Upscale Luxury Hotel market...they should start with the basics.....make sure your paying hotel guest key works. 26 January 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent guest service The hotel was beautifully appointed, but the staff was really what distinguished it. I encountered a key lock issue, and I appreciated that they didn't immediately assume that I had placed the keys near a cell phone or other credit card magnetic strips. The front desk associate instead accompanied me to the room, noted the issue, gave me entrance and sent a maintenance engineer up at my convenience to correct the issue. The in-room dining, food and beverage and valet staff were all well trained with outstanding guest service skills. 25 January 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Birthday Celebration in Buckhead We stay in Buckhead frequently even though we live OTP. This stay exceeded our expectations. Staff was very accommodating, room was well appointed and the musician in the lobby was fantastic Saturday night. We will be back. 22 January 2015
