Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 652 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Arrogant Staff Member I pretty much always stay at the Intercontinental Buckhead Hotel whenever I must travel to Atlanta. I have always in the past been impressed with the niceness of the hotel, the hotel location, the cleanliness of the rooms, and above all the friendliness of the staff. It was these pros that caused me to become an Ambassador Gold member. However, during the check out of the hotel for my last trip, my room key stopped working before it should have. In approaching the front desk to address my key issue, I ended up interacting with a young lady, who was quite unfriendly, arrogant, and down right rude. I finally had enough of dealing with her, and informed her that I no longer wanted her assistance and contacted one of the staff members working at the side desk. This staff member was very courteous, treated me with respect, and addressed my issue in a professional manner. Unfortunately, in my haste to get going I forgot to get the front desk person's name who had been so rude; but perhaps your staff members should be reminded that they are customer service personnel. And if this is something that they don't enjoy doing, they should get another job. 25 December 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exemplary service with a Southern warm welcome! Living within the metro Atlanta area we don't need to spend the night. However there are special occassions where an overnight in the city makes the celebration more special. Our daughter got engaged two nights before arriving in ATL from her home in Costa Rica. She is an American working in CR, as his her fiance. We were meeting another Mother-Daughter (friends) for a shopping weekend. Candis, at the front desk, was exceptional! She asked us if we were celebrating a special occassion. Her genuine excitement over the engagement and interest in Costa Rica, our lives, etc. made us feel we had an instant friend! She upgraded our room and continued to ask if she could be of service. As a former Event Specialist and as an international traveler; I greatly appreciated the exceptionally kind service from the moment we arrived until the moment of our departure. 16 December 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Television in rooms Reception on the tv's is spotty with several channels, especially CNBC. Most of the time i have found the channel guide is not functional. The quality of the television is high, but there must be an issue with the cable connectivity. 16 December 2014
