Take the Motorway & drive to the capital of Mauritius, Port Louis. Traffic jams are frequent at different regions on the way to Port Louis namely at Phoenix, St Jean and Reduit from 07:30 till 09:00am and 16:00 till 19:00. Traffic to / from Port Louis is very densely populated during peak hours mentioned above. Go through Port Louis but stay on motorway. Caudan Waterfront which is a beautiful shopping arcade near the sea and shipping port will be visible on your left. Continue driving till the 5th round about located at Terre Rouge region. Turn Left & drive towards Arsenal / Triolet (10min) Turn Left at Arsenal School & Mauras Dentist college. Follow InterContinental road signs (5min)

The island has a tropical climate. Summer is from November to May with a temperature varies between 22 and 35 degrees, Winter is from May to November with a temperature variance between 17 and 26 degrees. The coastal areas are usually warmer, with the sea temperature varying between 22 and 26 degrees. The central plateau regions are cooler during these peroids. Cyclones may affect the country between November and April.
