Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Hotel, Great location and staff. Would recommend for Business or personal travel. I have been stayed at the IC, Bangkok two times in under a month and would definitely stay here again. For one they have excellent security at the gates which is reassuring. For me personally, the best experience is their location. I can conduct by business meetings in the commercial buildings around the area without going into the streets! Raining or not I am able to go around the area without setting a foot on the streets. If you are seeking excellent food quality, then the hotel does not lend itself to great tasting food, but does provide value for money. I would definitely recommend it for business travel! 18 November 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoyable Stay It was my first time staying at the Intercon Bangkok and must admit that I was very impressed with the quality of service at the hotel. The location of the hotel is also very good as it is close to a couple of major shopping centers. The room was spacious and very clean. It had all the necessary stuff required for a business trip. Only thing was the package I took did not have WIFI in the room . Would like to say to the management and staff to keep up the good work 17 November 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location in Bangkok Planned to stay three nights in November 2013, but due to airline hiccups, only stayed two. Check-in at 6 am went well since we reserved the room for a midnight check-in and followed up with multiple phone calls when our flight schedules were falling apart. Reserved a King Deluxe room and asked if an upgrade to the Club level was possible, I'm a Platinum IHG member. I was given an upgrade to King Exec instead, which was the same room but the wifi is free. I guess being a platinum member for the last five years is not worthy of a free drink at night? Everyone on the staff was outstanding. Room was clean and comfortable. Only comment was that once we got to the room, there was no electricity. We were told that it happens in Bangkok and it would return soon. It did after about 30 minutes. Tried to have a drink at the rooftop, poolside bar after dinner one night, but was not able because it closed at 10 pm. They should stay open longer. It looked beautiful, but I could only see it from the glass doorways. Finally went down to the lobby wine bar/cafe for our nightcap. Ordered a scotch there and got a dram that barely wetted the bottom of the glass...for the equivalent of about $16 US! Won't ever do that again. Location is excellent for shopping and using the Skytrain. Chit Lom sky train station is very close (5 minutes). Taxi service is good thanks to the excellent bell staff who screen each taxi that drives up and ensures the drivers know where you need to go and that they are using the meters. Be sure to ask for a hotel card from one of the bell staff before venturing out, it has the name and address of the hotel in Thai so you can direct a taxi easily on return. Overall good stay, staff was the key to our satisfaction there. 17 November 2013

When order omellete for breakfast, just simply give the table number and the cooked dish willl be brought to your table. The least thing about the toiletry is the toilet paper. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Convenience for shopping and delicious food It is a good location for shopping everywhere, no matter you take BTS or walk, just 10 minutes will be arrived. The breakfast buffet is available in a wide variety of food and very delicious. If wi-fi can be provided in the room then it will be great! 16 November 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay, great location Stayed for a week, upgraded to corner suite. Gym fantastic, and staff very attentive. Pool small but very pleasant and relaxing, again very attentive staff. Club lounge and staff fantastic, with stunning views. Breakfast selection less than Hong Kong buffet, but really enjoyed lounge for breakfast. Special thanks to Julia in Club Lounge for brilliant service. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by breakfast not so good, staff is not fair. The breakfast is not so good. I got cheated by the stuff when i checked out of the room. One of the stuff said it was a very bad traffic jam because of the demonstration. they asked to rush before 2am. the fact there was no traffic jam at all, i felt like i got cheated by the staff. very dissapointed. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good location The hotel is at a very good location with easy access to surrounding town centre. During my check in the reception staff appeared not helpful nor friendly, behaved like a robot. The gym facilities were good however the water temperature of the jacuzzi was too hot and can't get in. The staff was trying to reduce the water temperature but didn't help much. I did try to use the jacuzzi the next day morning but still the same problem. 01 November 2013

Staff are pleasant, informative and polite. The club lounge is well run and has excellent service. Large shopping center is very close. If you would like to go to cheap restauraunt/massage, maybe better to reserve other places, though... Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic visit to Bangkok I was attending a travel conference at Central World so the hotel was very convenient to walk to the venue or the sky rail or local shops or restaurants. The roof top pool was a welcome relief after a hot day and I enjoyed a cocktail at the pool bar. I started the day at the gym where the attendants were most helpful and then went down for a fantastic breakfast, the variety was amazing. Would love to return ! 16 October 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Very bad service from scratch We arrived to the hotel, 2 Platinum Elite members, with great hopes, since this is our first time staying at IC Bangkok. We were greeted by a nice lady, that notified us that we haven't been upgraded, and would have to add an extra amount if we would like to be upgraded to an executive room. We made sure if there is no possibility to be upgraded, and were notified that as Platinum Elite members we are not entitled, but if we were Ambassador's we would have gotten an upgrade. We were also notified at first that check in will only be available at 3PM, since the hotel is fully booked. The time was 1PM. The hotel knew we were coming, as Platinum Elite, I'm sure they could have found a room that was available and was vacated early. After some talking, the agent magically found a room for us... Magically. So in conclusion, this is my first and last time staying at IC Bangkok. 14 October 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BEST CHOICE IN BANGKOK!!! No doubt, it's the best choice in Bangkok. Everything has been absolutely perfect! All the staff is so nice, the food is good, and the room are nice. The best thing about this hotel is their Executive Club Lounge with their staff! . Food, drink and Service is Perfect! Comfortable with a nice view over Bangkok, we enjoyed so much. Again, I find this hotel the best in Bangkok, for the Location, Quality and the STAFF! I will stay there again of course, when I will return to Bangkok. 12 October 2013

The entrance is stunning, the staff are truly amazing (a completely different level of service), the rooms are excellent, and the location could not be better. The staff are very professional and the hotel is easily of 5* standard. Great rooms with great hotel facilities right in the heart of Bangkok.
