Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed but a great hotel This is my 3rd stay at this location and I am a Platinum Ambassador for the past 4 years with Intercontinental. I was very disappointed with this stay. I usually prefer to stay in places that I can count on small details as part of the expected service for a loyal customer. I was informed that I got upgraded (I did not see anything special in the room to make me feel "upgraded"), there was no mini-bar and no bath robe. I would not make an issue out of this but considering it is the Intercontinental and the fact I was upgraded makes me wonder what kind of room and service i would have received without the upgrade! I requested my fruit platter and had to make 3 calls to ask about it. It arrived 2 hours later! I am a loyal Intercontinental customer but very disappointed with this venue. 26 June 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Memorable and happy stays I stay at the Vendome whenever I travel to Lebanon. It's coldness to the Cornish means I can walk along the sea line in the morning and watch the coast while I eat breakfast. The rooms are spacious and very clean. I like the antique look and feel of the decoration. Above all is the level of service of the staff and their politeness. One of the drawbacks of the place for some is that it does not have a gym. You have to go to the Phenocia to excersise. To me, this is great since it means I jouge then head out to the gym. It's a great place to stay in. I totally recommend it. 03 April 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One of its Kind Intercontinental. This is a property to be set apart from any other IC,you cant find more confort,personalised service and helpful staff than here. My only regret is you have to leave at one point and looking forward to the next stay,i really thank and congratulate the management of this UNIQUE property. 19 March 2014

With the exception of Ms Jacqueline at the "Sydney's", I was shocked by the inability/incompetence of staff to match the renowned status of Le Vendome.. My check-in as Royal Ambassador was a disaster, in fact the worst ever, so was my pledge for a drink at the lobby area having to interrupt a LOUD conversation between staff to make an order. No duty manager available in the afternoon to speak to. In one of the two hotel outlets for dining it is not possible to charge to the room. In short comfortable beds, nice rooftop restaurant/bar, but I am afraid it stops there! Staff (receptionists in particular) in urgent need for training on how to render personal service and to lower voices while engaging in endless conversations in the presence of guests at the lobby area. 30 October 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by family the best location overlooking the meditarean sea seconds from corniche where you can enjoy walking runing eating. bay is few minutes walk where you can enjoy your dinner zeitona bay / you have the option to swim in three places since there is no swiming pool in the hotel or gym intercontinental phonecia la blag and san george hotel . i felt at home with my family the staff is very good service is excellent food and i mean breakfast is excellent i used to take it in the room since the restaurant is under renovation .the executive lounge the place is in the lobby it could be better and in this i mean the food and drinks. the internet was fast and good the cleaning staff is good and always make sure that you are satisfied the fruit basket is wonderfull esp the lady used to bring it along with the water the whole experience is excelent . 08 July 2013
